Never in my locker. I'm not stupid.

I always thought it was a violation of privacy and the exploitation of the fact that minors technically don't have constitutional rights until they finally turn 18.

I went to highschool during the columbine era... and I got my locker searched all the time... it sucked.

Not all of them are this way, but I can't stand the military recruiters that go around high schools and colleges and pester you incessantly about joining the military, even after you said no. The one's that do this always annoyed me.

It's not a violation of privacy when you're in a public place.. People never get that. When you're in public, people can see you! The locker isn't your property.
With that said, is anyone actually stupid enough to put something like that in their locker?
I always felt those searches were a waste of time.

That was the only problem I ever had with them searching our lockers. I was always afraid they wouldn't lock my locker back.
Even then, I didn't really care if they went through my stuff, so long as 2 or 3 people were in the group looking.. That way, there was some element of supervision, and stuff wouldn't disappear as easily.
Of course, they searched our lockers every day and our bags as we went in because we had morons that called in bomb threats at the rates of 3 or 4 a day.

Big peeve: Faxes. I have to send faxes for work from time to time, but I don't have a fax machine myself much less a land line to plug it into, so I have to take great pains to find a fax machine and send a fax. I almost always encounter transmission problems and almost always have to make several tries before succeeding. I have such a hard time believing that twenty years after faxes became popular we haven't made advances to eliminate this awful kludge.

Hokay, so I am sick of people assuming my long-distance girlfriend Christy (aka CDAnders) isn't really a girl at all, but some 40-year-old guy from Who-Knows-Where. Just because we haven't met in person yet doesn't mean that we're not being real. Christy has sent me two HANDWRITTEN letters in the POSTAL MAIL! We've also sent pictures back & forth, but people dismiss that as "It's just some guy sending pictures of the same girl." Heck, we've done Webcam chat twice on YIM.

So what if we haven't met in person? We're a year apart; if it is in God's will, we will meet, face to face. I can't wait to take a picture of Christy & me together; it'll be a big foot in the mouth of whoever doesn't believe that Christy & I are who we say we are.

You might need to change that first "guy" to girl. ;)

Peeve: Being tired. It's kind of a simple peeve, but as most contact wearers will know, being tired and occasionally dozing off is a nightmare if your contacts are still in. They get all dry and painful and just a real nuisense. (sp?)

Some people are just tards, Ian..

Want me to set them on fire?

*note: Strong Rad does not advocate setting the mentally handicapped on fire; only unhandicapped persons who act like they are mentally handicapped.

Well, I wear glasses, so I don't get that problem. Although it's not really any better to wake up and find the frame of your specs imprinted all over your face.

My peeve is probably all the attention Christmas gets. This is coming from a Jewish girl, so it might be a little bit biased, and I can understand why Christmas gets all the attention it gets, but still. There are a million Christmas songs on the radio. Even in November, when Christmas was more than a month away, 106.7 Lite FM was playing "Jingle Bell Rock" and all that other junk. Sure, they're great songs, but to have them blasted at you nonstop way in advance is pretty disgusting. Granted, there isn't much to sing about for Hanukkah, 'cause we don't have a fat ol' mascot, just a fancy candle holder, but that's not the point. And when you buy something around the holidays, does the cashier ever wish you a "Happy Hanukkah" or "Happy Kwanzaa" as you exit? Nope, it's always "Merry Christmas". They could at least cover everything by saying "Happy Holidays" or whatnot. Christmas decorations even find their way into public places. They don't even put up a little dreidel or anything. If they have enough money to buy yards of tinsel tinsel and hundreds of candy canes, surely they could buy a tiny wooden top for about 50 cents? And the only reason people make Hanukkah a little more renowned is because it falls near Christmas. It's actually one of the most insignificant holidays in my religion. The three biggies are Passover, Rosh HaShanah, and I think Sukkot.

Well, I'm done with my ranting. My fingers ache from all that typing. I'm surprised you even bothered to read all this.

people that dont like losing and make up bull crap excuses about why they lost. like when you beat them in a game of soccer and they say their leg hurts or something even though they didnt show any sign of pain while playing the game, and then after saying their foot hurts, they start pretending to limp and be in pain. something like that.

Please tell me a way I won't have to be scared of them.

On a similar note, several people at my school pretend to be hurt for attention, which bugs the corn out of me. One girl even told us that her foot was broken, though she had no crutches and limped (on opposite feet at different parts of the day, I noticed) everywhere.

I mean, it's not like it's not obvious- everybody knows they're faking. And, as mean as it may sound to them, nobody cares if your foot is broken.

You know what sucks? I woke up today and turned on my compy. Right before I could get on here I got a call to go into work early. I'm going to be going in early almost every day this week, I'll be pulling close to a 40 hour work week. And Saturday's going to suck, because it's going to be extremely busy at work.

Um...actually, not so much. They're good guys, they just enforce stuff. And I'm sure what you're referring to is the name-changing thing, right? That's really no big deal.

I don't mean to sound like a brainiac, but I just hate stupid people. They ask questions they already know the answer to, so I give them a smart allec answer. I had just landed in at the Louisville airport, and I couldn't find my luggage. So I went to baggage claim and told them you lost my luggage. The lady asks me, "Has your plane landed yet?" I had to pull a Bill Engvall. I said, "No, I'm having an out of body experience. I need to get back for the peanuts."
