The Deathly Pallor is a she, I believe.

Personally, I can understand why she'd say something like that about conservatism, but there are some conservatives who are OK people. I'm sure George Bush is an OK guy to talk to. Does that mean I have to enjoy his policies? Of course not.

It's more of a "hate the sin, not the sinner" type deal, at least for me.

Slash between straight characters. Now, as you know, I have no problem with homosexuality or anything. However, I DO have a problem with people screwing with characters...especially when the characters are CLEARLY straight (for example, I've seem Amy/Leela romance fanfics, despite the fact that both of them are straight...there's never even been any indication that they're bisexual or anything). For that matter, I'd have just as much of a problem with a straight romance involving a gay character (though I don't think I've ever seen that).

Really, any form of completely canon-defying romance bugs me. For example, I have a problem with most Invader Zim romances (Zim and Dib are enemies, I doubt Zim would go out with his enemy's sister, Dib and Gaz are siblings, etc.). Heck, I can even handle it if it COULD work within the series, but you just see so many romance fanfics that ignore the basic personalities of the characters. And that bugs me to no end.

Ketsuban -
Marilyn Manson's music is a talentless, plebian attempt at industrial tinged rock and a laughable imitation of Alice Cooper. He can't sing either.

And Blink 182 is just a band that royally sucks. Same with Good Charlotte, which are a manufactured band anyways.

StrongRad -
Now you're aiming in the right direction. But you need to have Earth AD era Misfits though. The Germs are a good band too.

Ok ok, I meant conservatism. It's finals week, and I haven't gotten much sleep lately. I have conservative friends, mind you, but they are closer to centrist since they are not necessarily traditionalist in their ideas (as many conservatives tend to be, trust me, I know... I've lived with hard-core conservatives before... for quite some time too).

JohnTheTinyCowboy - Nope... I'm a guy.

Oops. Sorry.

Pet Peeve: Thinking someone is a girl when they're a guy.

YOU ARE THE COOLEST

I can totally tell I'm going to like you. But right now...

Todays Peeve: Having your virus scanner crap out on you saying "Go get a new validation thing, yours is expired." Then going to get a new code thing, only to find that Avast! has absolutly no link to something like that on their site.

KISS-Cringle 66 - Well, thanks!

But yeah, your peeve... man that is annoying. I've had that happen far too many times. Sometimes I think they enjoy making people blind with rage!

Well, first off, it's not even that bad out. The snow is north of us, luckily. Second, I'll get you for using my line darnit.

Another of those peeve type things, people driving in snow. I know it's been said, but it's still bad. There's barely any snow on the roads, but yet they still insist on going three miles per hour (125 kilometers per hour for the rest of you non-Americans). It's enough to drive one crazy.

I am looking outside right now and I can't even see the shed in my backyard. There is alot of snow falling right now.

How about when someone insists on going 60 mph when the roads are covered?

You get both back home. It's nuts. People think, just because there's snow, that they should drive slower than they can walk, AND people who think that, because they have a 4 wheel drive, they can drive 75 on ice (which is fun for me to watch, so long as I'm not on the road with them)

I haven't seen winter driving in Huntsville, but I imagine it's hillarious, given the diverse group of people that make up this city.

We have northerners, who know how to drive in snow reasonably well, but don't know how to deal with the ice storms that make up the bulk of frozen precipitation in the south, southerners, who can't drive in the snow, and midwesterners who are better at driving in both, but are used to having a highway department that knows how to take care of the roads.

I've been told that 2 or 3 inches of snow on top of a thin glaze of ice pretty much brings this city to a crawl. If that happens, I'm-a steal the Zamboni from the Von Braun Center.
I've always wanted to drive one of those things.

I wouldn't let someone like that get to me.

He's been gone for a while now.

Is he back or something?

KN was a guy who came in here and really messed things up, especially in the R&P section. He thought whatever he said was right and that the rest of us were wrong. He basically forced himself out, and it was one of the best meltdowns I have ever seen.

I liked the part where he put down all of the athiests, saying that they were, more or less, puppets of religion.
That was some quality reading.

Pff. It's hilarious how such a pitiful arguer could possibly create such an uproar on this excellent forum. Within ten seconds, I noticed two key things wrong about his post...

1. He claims that he has no fewer than 100 Christians from all over the world that now suddenly "despise us", yet he neglects to give us any links, any data, any names, just leaves us here to ponder who on earth could these people be?. He doesn't give any information as to why they "despise" us, either. I'd be willing to bet that these hundredfold are just a load of horse crap.

2. He expects us to CARE that he's leaving. He seems to have been making uneducated posts for months, all of which are easily shot down, and then turns around and tells us that he's editing his freakin' hosts files so that he never visits here again, as if we honestly give a damn that he's gone ("damn" is okay on this forum, right?).

Nice parting speech there, King Nintendoid. You really suck at going out with a bang.

It's funny. We weren't even doing anything out of the ordinary. I think his superiority complex, coupled with his rabid atheism and perhaps a naturally occurring mental imbalance, might have sent him off the deep end.

Anyway, no more talking of him. He's a troll and he's gone.

(Also, no, you shouldn't really use "the d-word" on the forum. They're pretty particular about that.)

And toastpaint.

Here's my peeve. My glasses. They're so dirty, and whenever I try to clean them, they just smudge. There's nothing in this world I hate more than smeary glasses lenses.

Well, maybe some things, but not many. :p

Use alcohol on them and an old t-shirt.. The alcohol evaporates and leaves them spot free..

The alcohol will also disappear when you drink it as well SR, but that might not help the stains on the glasses. :p

I know what you mean John-John. I can't wear my glasses at work because they get all types of crap on them, but yet I hate my contacts because they're always falling out and hurting like crazy.....yarr......

Not the last time I checked. But that's another discussion.

Peeve: When my teachers have the special knack for schedueling tests on the same days. It really bugs me, since I have to study like three subjects in one night.

That's not hard, try having two college finals on the same day.

you know what sucks? Being locked out of your own house. Nothing like climbing through the bathroom window and almost falling into the toilet. And my dogs? Didn't bark once.

It happened today. And a few times before. It's because I grabbed the wrong set of keys. I nearly gave myself a swirlee when I was climbing in the bathroom.
