My peeve as of late is rain. It rains too much here. It chooses the worst times to rain. I even slipped and fell today because of the wet floor, and the left side of my body still aches. Not to mention all the power outages. I'm getting really tired of resetting all the clocks in the house.

Ugh. Now that softball season is over, I don't have any sports to play for a while. And that bothers me. Having no sports to play.

I have that exact same device. Problems my sister and I encountered were:
1. Not having the right kind of USB cable. I'd check that everything fits nice and securely.
2. The installation messing up in the middle. I don't know why that happened. It said the installation failed, but the printer still worked with the computer fine.

Okay okay okay, I've got a new one: having to break into your own house.

Yeah. I went to my art lesson, not bothering to make sure I had my key, as my mother hadn't said she was going anywhere. I come home to find the car out of the drive. So, as usual when this happens, I'm forced to head around to the back, pry open the window by pushing against the glass and moving my hands to the side, hoping my fingers have enough grip, and then unfolding a chair as I stick it through the window in order to prevent me injuring myself as I might if jumping into the tight space between the wall and the couch.

I've grown a bit skilled at it, so it's not as difficult now, but it still annoys the heck out of me.

Hey hey. This is how flame wars start. Be nice or keep your anger bottled up inside you for the rest of your life.

That's right. That way you can explode on the way to your wedding, killing everyone gathered to watch the glorious ceremony. Of death.

Yeah, that's happened to me too. The only thing with me is that one time when I was trying to get in, a cop was driving by. Long story short, always have keys.

Well, here comes Teff's first ever use of this thread...

PET PEEVE #1: Fangirls (and fanboys) who talk and talk and talk and talk and talk about Japan, acting as if the Japanese culture was all they knew, even if they've never even been there, and never will go. I especially hate it when they utilize blogs to scream about Japan, manga, and anime even more.

PET PEEVE #2: Those who [omitted] and moan about politics, and threaten to move to Canada the second someone they disagree with is elected. Although I wouldn't mind this NEARLY as much if they'd just go to Canada and leave the rest of us in peace.

PET PEEVE #3: When someone talks and brags and rants about something that they don't even know they'll receive/get/whatever. I mean, bragging about how you're going to get an Xbox 360 or something the day it comes out when you've never been able to save a penny in your life is just irritatin'. Another related thing to this is when people are positive that they'll get something for Christmas, when in reality they have absolutely no idea.

And if anyone is offended by any of this, you shouldn't be, as I was talking about people I know (kind of). Not any o' you cool guys.l

I know what you mean. My ex is like that. One reason she's now my ex. She made an entry in her LiveJournal the other day talking about how much we Americans suck because we don't have Pocky or whatever it's called. I also know quite a few people who think that America sucks, not because of the people or the government or any of the reasons that some liberals hate it (notice that I said some liberals, I'm a moderate liberal and I love America) but simply because of anime--the crappy dubbing/subtitles (and the labeling of dubbing companies as Nazis) and the lack of certain animes. They hate America because it's not the birthplace of anime. Instead, it's the birthdplace of "crappy" cartoons such as Superfriends and every other American cartoon that ever existed is exaclty like Superfriends.

Okay, I got carried away there... but yeah, those types of people are annoying. I have nothing against anime, but... gees laweez, people, there's more to life than anime.

If you can't think of anything to post, don't.
That's what I do.
No use replying to a post if you have nothing constructive to add.

Speed Mountains. You know what I'm talking about. They're like speed bumps, but like 18,000 ft high. You drive over these things, and your freaking ears pop! I mean, what the crap? Are they trying to slow the cars down by destroying their drive shafts? I mean, it's like someone was trying to make regular speed bumps, but decided to use ACME Brand Escalating Asphalt or something. Sheesh! Here's a hint, people! A speed bump only needs to be high enough to keep cars from going too fast; you're not trying to stop Hannibal from invading your apartment complex with a herd of elephants, for goodness sakes!
