You know what sucks? Getting hit with a baseball. I don't mean being the batter and getting ht, I mean being the pitcher and having one come right back at ya. I got hit right where my left leg meets my waist. There's a huge bruise there, with a crap-load of pain......yarr....ow......

sound like your quite lucky though, a couple inches to the right and.... we'll just leave it there.
Yeah....that would be bad. Kinda reminds me of a date I had a while back, when we were playing pool and the cue ball she hit flew off he tble and almost hit me......well, you get the idea.

And this reminds me of a trick you should never ever do to your friends.... let me explain how it is accomplished.

Ingredients:
1. One moderatly dense friend
2. One quarter (you may obtain from moderately dense friend if you don't have on of these)
3. A pool table with 2 regular balls, a cue ball, a cue stick
4. A steady shot.

You tell the moderatly dense friend to stand at the far end of the table, place the quarter on the dot at his end of the table, the two balls about 6 inches beyond the quarter about 2 inches away from each other. Tell your friend to put each hand in the corner pockets to catch the balls before they fall. Then shoot the cue ball directly at the quarter with moderate force.... hopefully elaboration is not required on the outcome.

seriously, this is just a joke, don't do it...

I got a forum peeve: Having a ton of images in your rotating avatar/banner. I know it's cool and fun, but try to keep it to 10 or lower. When you have like 20, it gets confusing and annoying.

And that's my two cents.

That happens to me, too. It gives you pause to think, huh? "Do I sleepwalk? Is there a giant pea in my bed? Did an undead BTG sneak over and poke my ribs?"

More often than not, I b'lieve it's just you running into stuff, and then forgetting about it. Just like I forgot running into ye old cousin's pool steps the other day, and now my hipbone is killing me purple.

Ah, you're not that awkward. ;)

Are you okay? Running into pool steps sound like they hurt.

Pet peeve: When people put helmets on legos and then take the heads off the bodies while the helmets are still on. Those are so hard to get off.

Being so far off the ground means you don't pay as much attention to that particular area. The ground, that is.

It did hurt. I hurt. Wah. Pity par-tay, everybody!

"An undead BTG," kind of redundant.

Yeah, I know that there are some on the forum. But all I EVER hear from you guys is "Can you make it compatable for Mac?!"

It really irritates me!

That'll be me, come Christmas. I have always been a Windows user, so when I tell people I am getting a PowerBook for Chirstmas, they go crazy, saying things like, "YOU'RE GONNA GET A MAC?!? WHY?" Because it's my money, and I can make a decision for myself.

Dag, yo. Now you'll be lumped in with people going "Where's the Mac-friendly file?"

I'll admit that that looks cool. But I'll never by a Mac. NEEEEEEEVERRRRRRR!

Peeve: When people on TV say things over and over. Remember the All-Star Game where the winner got home field advantage in the World Series? (I think it was the Fenway one) All I kept hearing was "This time it matters". Please focus on the game at hand!

WRONG! Comiskey in Chicago. 2003. They did last year in Houston, too. And again, this year, in Detroit. And they are still saying, "This time it counts!" Well, I'm pretty sure it counted the last two years also! Stupid.

I stand corrected. Although I was still peeved that they kept doing it. WE GET IT!

OK, biggest pet peeve ever... People who smoke with their kids in the back seat, or women who smoke while pregnant... these people should not be allowed to reproduce, imho.

It's kind of sad. A lot of people smoke. I hate it.

My mom smokes, and she has no desire to quit. It really ticks me off.

I'll list some of my big hates:
  • smokers who don't obey "No Smoking" signs
  • stupid people wondering why they have to have a job at McDonald's
  • people who ask to try on my glasses
  • disgusting combinations
  • wailing babies
  • small area of space in airplanes
  • going to a different country, and not knowing what other people are saying.

That's my big list.

Oh, that's a very good list. I'll agree with all of that sans the last one. Since I've never been out of the country.

That's something I do all the time. ALL THE TIME! Most recent occurence? Yesterday.
Another pet-peeve: Some show releases a DVD set of their first season, and then never, ever, releases another one again.
GUH!

I hate it when a show doesn't put ANY of it's seasons out on DVD.

That's annoying too. I was pointing at Big Brother. They released season three, and then for season four, the released one highlight DVD. Nothing for seasons one, two, or five. Stupid Big Brother.

How about watching a movie with someone who's already seen the movie. They'll look over at you, and tell you that this part is good, or they'll say the line being said out loud. Obnoxious.

Agh, that's annoying. Saying the line out loud is something that hasn't happened to me, though.

Peeve: Hot nights. You know, when you're trying to sleep, and it's hot, and muggy...

Come watch Napoleon Dynamite with me, then. I'm crazy.

Actually, I enjoy this phenomenon. I stayed with a family in Austria for a week and not having to worry about what anybody was saying was really refreshing. It's very zen.

Ya, I guess, but if they were talking in a loud, bellowing, angry voice, it's not pleasant.

Actually the cool part was all the opportunities to ask my host-guy's really cute friend to translate stuff for me. Good times.
