Sup guise, haven't been round here in a while.
Its a fake, don't get it, check it from a different seller.
Yeah, if you are going to buy a Les Paul online, go here. They've got all the favorites and at good prices.

BTG, Please tell me that that's sarcasm.

WTH are you talking about Cola?

NEVER BUY A GUITAR FROM EBAY!!!!

Its a fake, and you'll end up dissapointed when you get it, plug it in, and hear a very bad "You unplugged the guitar while you have too much Gain and Distortion on" sound, even if you don't have any Gain or Distortion set.

Trust me on this one, dude. Its a Chinese Knock off that they're trying to sell you.

I think what COLA is talking about is he's doubting you can get a decent Epiphone Les Paul for $40, and doing it on eBay -- where the buyer can't even inspect the guitar -- doesn't exactly make it any more convincing. And I think I agree with him on that, though I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a fake right off the bat.

Instead of Les Paul, package contained a bobcat.

Would not buy again.

Cola, I never took you for an idiot before today.

EPIPHONES ARE MADE IN CHINA.

You should talk to the hundreds, if not thousands of musicians who have bought crap from ebay on Harmony Central.

Mwahahaha...

So in one of my classes just now, we had a quiz to test our knowledge of this programming system called MatLab. For the quiz, we had to create a simple GUI that would display a two pictures, one of which being a jped and the other being a function genereated by anaylzing the pixels. He GAVE us the code to do that, we just had to figure out how to insert that into a GUI, which as super simple. Teacher also gave us free range to add whatever else we wanted. The name of the picture file was BATTLE.jpg, and ended up being his two pets wrestling, and the button we had to insert was to be labeled battle of the century. So, i figured that a battle of the century must in fact require a spectator, so i included a button that brought up a spectator for the fight. So, who was this spectator?

Mwahahaha...

I would've been on sooner but I forgot. I definitely would've been on time if I had managed to remember.

Arr, does anyone know how to find what term a value is in a geometric sequence?

Like

tn = 6(3)^(n-1)
162 = 6(3)^(n-1)
Solve for n.

In school we just boil it down to

27 = (3)^(n-1)

And just guess and check to find that it's 4, but that's tedious and lame.

Well, you could do...

27 = 3^(n-1)
27/3 = 3^(n-1)/3
9 = 3^(n-2)
9/3 = 3^(n-2)/3
3 = 3^(n-3)

n-3 = 1
n = 4

Did they teach you to use logarithms for those? Basically, if a^x = n, logn a = x, read "the logarithm with base n of a equals x...". So to get the answer, you have to take the log of base 3 of 27. Calculators normally just have a 'log' and an 'ln' button, which are for the log with base 10 and log with base e, respectively (putting in log(100) will give 2, because 10^2 is 100), so you have to use the base change theorem, which says that logb(x)/logb(n) = logn(x) (where b is any number). So to get the answer, you would put log(27)/log(3) into a calculator, which is 3, which equals n - 1. So n is 4.
