Sorry, I couldn't find an appropriate emote to represent "laughing until you pass out."

Wait, PCP? Ain't that a drug?

(Yes, I know that Didymus isn't directly referring to the drug, but I still think it's funny.)

I just read a summary of a short story on the TV Tropes Wiki, and it creeped me out.
Spoilering the same way it was on the page wrote:
Nancy Etchemendy's Cat in Glass is a collection of short stories that range from inventive and appealing to downright macabre. In Lunch at Etienne's, a woman gets her toddler ready to go (he's mad and won't speak to her, and she has to carry him), gets annoyed by the quantities of dust on the coats in her wardrobe, can't get out the blocked front door (why hasn't the landlord fixed it yet?), walks down the street (are her neighbors still not speaking to her? and what's all this white stuff on the ground, it's too early for snow), enters her favorite restaurant, and meets her best friend for lunch (speechless). She catches a glimpse of the mirror, which reflects an old woman in rags sitting next to two corpses in the broken rubble of what used to be a restaurant. Stunned with horror, she shakes it off and goes back to talking with her best friend about how the service at this place is always horrible.

I knew what the twist ending was going to be the whole time, partly because of the way it was written but mostly because it was on a page listing examples of the "treating a corpse like it's still alive" thing, but I think that just made it creepier. Ugh.

Makes sense to me.

Ya, at first it was because I'm trying to use the internet less and being a mod was bringing be back to the compy too much. But the whole less-internet thing hasn't been as successful as I hoped... I still check this place a lot more than is healthy. But it's been a giant load off anyway. Now that there's no modding to do, I actually get some fun out of coming here.

Oh holy crap, top of p. 300!

I just wanted to comment that your PONG file does not seem to load for me. It is a shame that it takes a full 17 minutes for the page to load only to find that the image will not appear on my computer.
I have taken the initiative of uploading an on computer photograph onto my personal website to illustrate the problem more effectively:

Is it my browser? Is it my computer? Do I need to get a new internet? Do I need to update?
Lo.l(That means “lots-of-luck” in netspeak BTW ;-) ), my friend.

Third. Except I'd feel lonely, and if any of those guests signed up and started posting right then, they would likely be annoying newbs.

Yeah, I get bored though, because I feel as though if people come back on and see fifty or so threads with me as the last poster, then that's just annoying. It is kinda fun when there's only three or so people around that are regular users, then the forum turns into like a giant version of gabbly, so long as the other guys know that they're being spoken to.

Also, another entry into epic wikipedia pages.
