I think we need a separate I-Doser thread.

None the less, I-Doser is not Placebo effect. It's not a literal drug or anything, its repetitive sounds that, when repeated for a certain amount of time, can cause certain emotions and feelings to come out.

Remember the brown noise? Remember how Mythbusters couldn't even get it to work? Jaimie or Adam's brain could handle the sound being put out. Some people can't, and thats why they have fallen victim to the Brown Noise.

Lots of feelings and senses can be stimulated by sound, and theese just so happen to make you feel like you're on drugs. It doesn't matter, it works for some, it doesn't for others.

Also, people saying "You're dumb for liking this" or "You don't feel anything because you're not an idiot" are acting like the stereotypical Atheist in a Christian forum.

You know what? If you think it works, and like the effects, then more power to you.

At least you're not doing heroin, ecstasy, or other illegal drugs.

No, I don't think I-Doser works, but if you do, have fun with it.
I think it's totally placebo effect, but I'm not going to call you stupid. Placebo effect has nothing to do with intelligence anyway.

Calling someone stupid for having a successful outcome with a placebo is like calling someone tall for wearing green shoes.

That was a "practically" statement. But you can see her enormous crotch-reigon.

Strong Rad's got it right. If you think it's placebo or whatever, just say you think it is, don't call someone stupid for thinking it isn't, or having fun with it.

The thing is, why are you looking at her crotch?

Because I look at the entire drawing. If you can call it that.

Tim Buckely's "art" is painful to look at.

Just for some lulz on the CAD topic, I present to you the Ctrl+V Derivatives:

DO NOT BUY MEMOREX BRAND MEDIA.

I recently ordered some 8.5gb 8x DVD+R's, and here's all the problems I had:
1. Despite being labeled 8x, they would not register any faster than 2.4x.

2. Over half of the ones I burned were defective.

3. I had difficulties with Memorex Customer Service.
a. they didn't want to accept the electronic invoice I sent them.
b. they sent the wrong quantity of replacements (only 10 - I needed 19).
c. they sent the WRONG PRODUCT (4.7gb RW's, not 8.5 R's).

Buy Verbatim. A little more expensive, but at least they work.

That's strange.
Most of the stuff I did in grad school got backed up on Memorex DVDs.
It all went just fine.

Maybe you got a bad batch.
Maybe I just got lucky buying Memorex.

I'm pretty sure it's this particular product. Check the reviews of it on Newegg.com.

And before anyone says anything, I didn't order them from Newegg, and so I didn't get a chance to read these reviews first.

Note that even the positive reviews still voiced complaints about the write speed.

Who the pug is that?

Anyway, I'm reading a book called To Kill A Mockingbird for school. It's okay and I understand it but I don't get what the mocking bird has to do with the book

1. Vladimir Putin.

2. The mocking bird is relating to the book, because the black guy at the end on trial represents the mocking bird. The guy says something like "To kill a mockingbird is wrong because it just sings and doesn't harm anyone" and him and the mockingbird are both innocent but victimized.

Precisely.
And as I probably have said before, To Kill a Mockingbird is the only book that school forced us to read that I enjoyed.

Anyways, I am on my old computer right now, and I realize how much I miss FireFox.
