I know a lot of Texans. I'd love to have a pic of that shirt, just to annoy them.

Good luck iKi.

My uncle is sort of going through the same thing right now.
Eastern Kentucky is pretty much a piece of flash paper right now. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if mentally deficient people weren't setting fires every couple of minutes.

I'm serious. Something like 85-90% of the wildfires in the eastern part of the state are arson.
Rumor is, the hunters are getting mad at the arsonists for ruining the habitat and have threatened to take matters into their own hands.

Why would they be arsoning (it's a word now) the forests? Isn't that kinda dumb?

Yes. Note the "mentally deficient" comment.
Perhaps an angry hunter with a 30-06 will correct this.

The batteries in my TV remote have been in there since I bought it in December of 01, and they still work.

They're the ones that came with it, so they're a weird brand.

X-Acto knives hurt like all get out. Especially when you're cutting foam core board with one, and you accidentally slice off a fingernail-sized piece of your left index finger.

...

No, I'm not showing anyone pics.

I have bad luck around any knifes. I was opening a swiss army knife, all of the attachments, and when I closed it, I had managed to slice the bases of both my thumbs. exactly symmetrical.

Your over quoting of the zelda cd-i games is bothering me. Funny the first time, maybe, but you're killing it.

Wow, FFC made it into an SA article. Considering we were in a Cracked article back in July, I'm not surprised. It's just an attempt to start some drama--not to mention free publicity.

Uh, I mentioned that at about 1 am this morning.

Anyway, I lol'd at the fact that I knew two of the people that showed up in that. :-|

How come whenever someone says "Furs for Jesus" I think of Jews For Jesus?

I was just trying to say that the discussion has come and gone. Must you interpret everything I say as an insult? Jeez.

Geckos don't have fur...they have...scales...or something.

I'm a scaly, but since most anthropomorphic animal characters are mammals, the word "furry" can describe any fan of these characters.

If Steve (May he rest in peace) wasn't amused, would anyone here care?

Yes, Steve is dead. Being a fictional character (Of whom I had to deliver messages for), he was killed in a piece of writing.

Hey, have you ever noticed how all observational comedians just take received opinion and blatant cliches and spout them off at the audience as if nobody's ever thought of them before? And they keep presenting statements as questions?

Waves hand out at the audience, palm facing upward

I mean, come on? And then they'll try to expand the joke by basically just repeating it in a specific context, like how I watched this Jerry Seinfeld guy and he did exactly that?

Walks to the other side of the stage, continuing the arm movement.

And, you know, the jokes usually just peter out without a proper punchline, and yadda yadda yadda?

Yeah, seriously, since when is the Simpsons Jewish comedy? Matt Groening's agnostic. The only Jew that has really had an impact on the Simpsons is Al Jean, and he was only raised Jewish.

Man, if I had known how close Newegg.com's shipping department (it's in Memphis) was to my home, I would have simply ordered my new AGP card instead of buying a temp to put in until it arrives. According to my order status, I'll likely get it tomorrow. AND I ONLY ORDERED IT A FEW HOURS AGO!!

Who's steve?

Y'know, I'm just wondering, there's Hebrew Translators, Arabic Translators, Swahili Tranlators, Turkish Translators, and even Zulu translator. I wondering how come there isn't a Kikuyu translator? I heard you have to go to Kenya just to learn it. But I dunno why.
