We aren't supposed to know. The whole point of the ending was that we couldn't possibly know what happens to him. It was the first time in his life when there were no cameras spying on him.

And he was a jerk for about a year before he did it, too. He treated Mandy like crap, all because of his unrequited crush on her (as if it was her fault he had no control over his hormones). Not to mention that crap he pulled on Ace and Alec, which turned the entire forum into a freaking nut house. Yes, he did plenty of brown-nosing afterwards, hoping to get himself an Admin position over here, but as I look back, I can't help but wonder how bad things would have been if he had gotten it.

So, no, Jello is not a "basically good person who slipped up once". He was a jerk who took his jerkiness too far once too often.

Ace: I didn't lock it. Maybe someone else did?
