I loved the part where Cartman's filter stopped working in the pizza place.

Ugh, I hated that episode. Seriously, that episode was on par with the crap family guy craps out.

"lol its funny becuz cartmanz swearing lol he sez wutever he wants and he haets jews lolo!"

Seriously, the first half of this season was great, I wish they would gb2/that.

I wouldn't mind family guy if they just didn't get their humor from the same root, being random, innapropriate and sexual references, and stupidity. I know it's 2007 and sometimes you just gotta get with the times, but it doesn't mean you have to go all out heavy duty all the time.

The beauty of the simpsons is that it shows us humor on many different levels, there have been some clinkers (i.e. Fear of flying, which is an early one btw) and granted it's changed, but they manage to do a pretty good job at making us laugh. No major offense, but Family Guy tends to get very unoriginal.

I wasn't too big on the "tourette's" parts either, although I will admit it made me laugh. The pizza place was my favorite part solely because of:

"My cousin and I touched weeeiiiIIIIIIIIINTERRR IS A COLD TIME OF YEAR!!!"

You know, just once, I'd like to see Family Guy call itself out on the whole "this reminds me of that one time..." gag.

Lois: PETER! BRIAN JUST GOT HIT BY A CAR!!
Peter: That reminds me of that one time I went to the store.
<Show Peter going to store, buying some random item or another>
Chris: Dad, I gotta tell ya, that was a pointless story.
Joe: Yeah, seriously, Peter. Your flashbacks are pretty lame.

Aaaaaammeeeennnn.

The Simpsons is vastly superior to Family Guy. Too often FG relies on grossing you out rather than being intelligent with their writing.

Though I have to admit Stewie very often cracks me up.

Well, when Family Guy first came on the scene back in the late 90's, it was totally unbelievable for me. I was a die hard Simpsons fan and it blew me away. They took what the Simpsons started and pushed it to the next level. After it was cancelled and brought back, it lost a lot of the spark that made it awesome.

If Stewie doesn't make you laugh, there is something wrong with you.

Jon, the words "Jack Black" ruin it for me.

School of Rock was so-so and the Jackal was kickawesome, but other than that, he's pretty lackluster.

Also, American Dad seems like it's one of those things that supposed to be funny because it isn't.

That's the theory I've been operating under, anyway.

I've done things like that before. Wait, didn't we use to have a thread for things like that?

Jack Black is ok, but alot of his stuff is too clishe'd for me to find if funny.

I just saw some scans of that article.

Looks very God of War.

EDIT: By the way, the article says PS3 and 360 only, but I've noticed that dumb dumb Game Informer often forgets to note that there's a PC version.

Basically, you should only have aliens appear in that type of animation every halloween special (i.e. Kang and Kodos), and aliens that act like how the american dad alien acts like, IS ILLOGICAL!

I think you're right Rad, but I don't see how normal, thinking, human beings produc that show. Just wrong, I hope it dies a slow painful death, Family Guy may be too much of one thing, but it's a known fact that possibly the only reason AD is on the air, is because of dah moolah.

Seriously.

Doesn't matter, he was only good in two films and they both portrayed something he's not.

A skilled guitarist.Seriously, man, he sucks. I mean, its all KG's skill that makes up Tenacious D, all jack does is sing, and he's barely even good at that.
