I saw the Family Guy Stars Wars episode thing last night. Very funny, and got rid of all the reasons people said they don't like it. And I loved the end.
That episode was the only one since the re-launch that was on the level of the original run.
I dunno, I think it was way above the level of the first run. It was non stop laughter.

AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!! I MISSED MY 666TH POST!!!!!

I had a friend tell me this morning about all the rules of satanism... It's not that bad, it would go well with medieval times. It's just the whole violence thing. And the name makes it so evil... But I suppose there could be a bunch of things I missed and satanism really is an extremely terrible religion. Oh well. It was fun to hear about it. I'd never join, of course. But at least now I know some more stuff.

choosing the right religion always looks hard. personally, I think the religion where you get resurrected as a different animal, makes the most sense. when you die, you usually get buried. you become part of the soil, plants grow in the soil, a sheep or something eats it. if it's pregnant, the food goes through the placenta into the lamb or kitten or calf or whatever. so part of you is inside that animal. that's the logical reasoning. if the soul exists, then that makes a difference.

speaking of sixes, what's the deal with the 66 or similar that flashes when the Delorean get struck by lightning at the end of Part II?

I'm not joining any religion because I believe I'm wise enough to guide myself, and I can't bring myself to believe in a higher power, or let someone else's rules guide me. I think it's okay, because I'm not a stupid jerk. And I don't try to make other people be like me.

I only know one person who tries to force opinions, a vegetarian. she goes absolutely wack when someone talks about eating meat.

AAH! A ninja downtime. (downtime that sneaks up on you)

I had to end the night without knowing where the conversation would end. :-(

On one hand, mom would scream at me for revealing my address just for "some mail", despite her getting mail from guys all the time. ON the other hand, the secondary place I live/visit would keep me safe (not that I distrust Ian, but my parents are pretty nuts when it comes to what they care about for me), but I'd have to get permission first from my sister.

The latter is better.

Yes it was. You failed to get the Heavy Metal reference. Heavy Metal > D&D.

So was every episode of the first run.

Quick thing first, Gravey, watch the double posts, you know the drill.

By the way, my roommate is watching Heroes right now...it's strangely addictive.

um.

I was talking about what's changed in the time since people stopped worshiping the show and started bashing it.

That's debatable. Quite frankly, I don't care that much about Metal. I could just as easily say D&D > Heavy Metal and it would carry just as much weight as your statement. Preference is just as much a non-failure as ignorance without consequences.

Ugh.

Class jerk is a jeeeeeerk.

ME: Oh, so it's kinda like the current stereotype (please note that I said STEREOTYPE) of Mexicans being lazy and stupid.
CLASS JERK (WHO HAPPENS TO BE MEXICAN): AHEM. D<

And then the teacher made me stay after class. Apparently I made a racist comment.

Even though I EXPLICITLY stated that it was a STEREOTYPE.

MULTIPLE TIMES.

WHAT THE FORK.

I have like three projects I SHOULD be working on.

First project, we have data, we're just too lazy to look at it.

Second project, we don't have data but we're truckin' along pretty well. Only problem is we need a certain book that we can never seem to find when we need it.

And then there's probably something else that I can't remember.

My cat is going insane. It keeps meowing at me, looking at me strangely, and meowing louder than ever! It has food, it has water, what more does it want? Please help!

It's hard to say. Cats are weird. Normally when my cat stares at me like that she just wants attention.

Sooo...
I was playing Ghost Recon II co-op with a friend of mine. 20 enemies left. He dies. 5 Left. Three are in one spot. Pull out the grenade launcher. Pop out from behind the wall...

And blow myself up. I didn't get out far enough.

*Bangs head on desk*

Well I would assume male cats have needs to, but I'm not sure...

I agree with Ex. Sometimes cats will go to great lengths to get your attention. Mine used to jump onto my keyboard.
