I LOVE TMBG. Just found that out.

I saw them live last Saturday.

I met John Flansburgh. I got his autograph and a picture with him.

He also dropped his guitar pick onstage and just got out a new one. I wound up with the old one and will cherish it forever.

Stop making me jealous.

Am I getting obsessive about 12533 being my postal code?

Pics plox.

I'd like to see them with Elle in Chicago, at the Vic Theatre, November 10th. It's only $24 and it's 14+. :D

Pics shall be posted as soon as I get around to it. The quality is terrible, though--fairly blurry. Dad can't take pictures very well, I guess.

True story:

Yesterday me and the guys were walking out of the cafeteria that the school'd recently remodeled. There's still a lot of bare dirt around in between the new sidewalks, but when we came out of the cafeteria itself, we noticed that they had started to bring in some shrubbery to plant. There were some small plants along the wall, but right in the middle of this huge patch of ground there was a Christmas tree looking tree. It's roots were tied up in a burlap sack and bound with heavy wires still from shipping. It was just laying tilted awkwardly at a 45 degree angle on bare dirt with nothing around it and no one attending to it.

I acted quickly. I asked if anyone had some paper and a pen, which I took and then wrote upon it the words: "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!" in bright happy letters. I then stuck the paper on the tree and then left.

Apparantly everyone was talking about it today, about the sign on the tree, which is now planted correctly, for the record

Where was that website that had the cosole war deals going on? I mean to say the estimated total units sold for PS3, wii, and 360?

Someone here used to have it in their sig, but I can't find it anymore :\

Check Wikipedia for the current numbers. Last week, or maybe the week before, when Halo 3 wasn't released, Wii was closing in on XBox. Don't know about that anymore.

You know, a few months ago Google put a warning on that site, saying it was malware. Digg also put out a warning.

I think http://www.vgchartz.com/ seems to be a little more reliable.

And according to that, Wii already surpassed the 360. It did it a few months ago. But of course we can't be sure. I wouldn't completely trust any of them.

Dunno, 360's been out for a while. It would take a huge load of Wii buyers and a decline of 360 sales to overturn.

Today is a half-day. I don't know why they call it a half-day, it should be called a ⅜ day.

As far as I can tell, this is a fairly full day.

I was just cruising Wookieepedia and discovered that there were some links there to HRWiki. Apparently, Homsar and Kerrek are among the random character names in Knights of the Old Republic.

Quick, can someone write an essay on the mechanics of the I Have a Dream speech? Or at least paragraphs on loaded words and allusions?
