Capt's Oreo post was a repost, hate to say it. The 1000 page was awesome. Had all sorts of emo and man on the moons and Cola's awesome thing.

Yeah, it was a repost, but that was several hundred pages back, the last post on its page, and the only readily available epic I had lying around. So in conclusion, shut it up you :ehsteve:

Almost all of the suggested colors are more annoying than the purple names of the past, and the Forum begins lighting up like a Christmas tree.
Teefee leaves the Forum.
Since Random Thoughts is around the corner, it is flooded with posts about being high for 20 or so pages.
Some people begin changing their avatars and signatures to be more colorful.
Stu unbans Lahi; ramrod and Stu apparently play tennis with the ban.
Random Thoughts is locked on Page 999--the plan was to have either Lahi or Seethroo make the 1,000th page TOTPD, but due to how active the Forum was, it never happened. Instead, Noid, Ath, Jitka, Homeschool, and COLA all reach this at one point, due to the mods deleting posts.
Things begin to cool down, and Random Thoughts is locked. (I return around this point).
The Forum is apparently happy.

15 years olds AND 20 some odd year olds, thankyouverymuch. That and low level codemonkey work. I hope back and forth between database stuff and debugging javacode. It's fun, actually. I'm not familiar with most of this, so it's all a learning experience, whereas instead of getting graded for it like at school, I'm getting paid :mrgreen:

Then why don't you just lock it, and temporaily unlock it when you need to post something there? Would that be too much work for the poor, opressed admins? Or do you just like banning people for poorly justified reasons?

I mean, I like the mod team for the most part, but this is just stupid.
