I was taking the bus to see Prince Caspian the other night, and at an intersection there was said hearse. The back part was (badly) painted in matte black, even the scrolly thing.

It reminded me of this hearse convention here in Denver a few weeks ago. And you thought people who dressed up like animals were weird.

So... why do they keep casting the wrong ethnicity for game-to-movie-movies or book-to-movie-movies or comic-to-movie-movies or pretty much anything-to-movie-movies characters? I just... I dunno. Why.

Nick Fury was black because Ultimate Nick Fury is modeled after Samuel Jackson. And Samuel Jackson is in everything so naturally he had to be in Iron Man.

I'm actually thinking of the Prince of Persia, casting a man who isn't Persian. But yeah, there's plenty of examples of other sorts of thingies.

I haven't seen Prince Caspian yet, mostly because I'm a die-hard book fan and I'm irritated that they casted the Prince as a guy who looks much older then Caspian should be. And I'm anal like that.
