Humans are naturally curious, but school pretty much destroys that. Learning at one's own pace and interests can raise a person's self-worth to the point of having a neverending desire for knowledge. Meanwhile, school has a cookie cutter pace in a cookie cutter system trying to mold all sorts of people with different interests into the same product. In short, I and many other people are for self-learning and against compulsory education. And I found that topic through this topic. And I'm in that topic because I am a member there, just like Wes the Pariah You Guys Have Made. |

Hmm. I see what you mean, but 9/10 people would probbly just drop out because they Don't want to learn. Or maybe I just think that because my school is in the ghetto and half of the students in every class have D and below grades. |
