So I'm doing a essay on violent videogames etc

The fact there's a major decline in violent crimes between 1993-2004 is the main thing I'm focusing on. That's when Doom 1+2, Postal 1+2, GTA3 where released.

Give me something to correlate to the 1994 crime rate spike, other than the fact that Doom and Mortal Kombat were released the year prior.
