I just saw the eclipse for ten or so seconds.

The moon looks like Mars at this moment in time, down to the "ice cap" shade of white.

The one a few years ago was cooler; the moon looked a lot closer to the Earth. This is still pretty neat, though. More ideas to throw into Midnight Hunters.

Ah, well that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Oh well.

I wish it would get completely dark. Like not just reddish brown, but actually BLACK.

I went out there, set the exposure time to 3 seconds, had the camera on a tripod, and still failed to capture anything. That's unfortunate, because right now it's all ruddy and picturesque.

6.3 megapixels, no go.

Actually, it's impossible to get a picture like that without specialized equipment (CCD or something like that) so yeah Internet.
