Welp, I've come up with a cartoon today.

Its about the Cthulhu Mythos, but its not anything like "Actiony" or "Anime" or "ZOMG, GROUP OF HUMANS BATTLING EVIL FORCES" or anything. Its a story about a Yithian. Its in the future, and by this time, all these demons and stuff are now everyday people in human society.

Our Yithian has a family; A fleshy mass of tentacles with a snarling goat's head for a wife, an egg wearing a diaper for a son, and a potted plant as his daughter.

He works as a pencil pusher for a company that Cthulhu owns and is head CEO of. He wears a brown Bowler hat with a black trim, he enjoys butter and drives a small car.

When he talks to his wife, all she speaks is a snarling sound and other ugly sound effects, and he seems to understand it. He's slow, and can be pretty dumb at times, but always comes out learning nothing in the end. He sounds like Coach Z with the Dialect of Dr. Zoidberg, and feels a natural inclination to improve his everyday life.

It will be drawn in the style of old time cartoons, with the detail and spontaneity of Ren and Stimpy, with a witty yet random form of humor, similar to alot of 90's era cartoon shows.

So many questions will arise that will never be answered. Why does his entire species wear a form of hat? Why is he married to a mass of tentacles? Is it even a woman? Why an Egg? How the heck did his wife "Birth" a potted plant? Will he ever make middle management? Or should I just stop trying?

Someone should remix the Colbert Report theme. It's great how it is, but a longer version would be nice.

Also, awesome

And be even more careful after 32. Once you have waited the 143 years that is.

Well, the total lunar eclipse that's happening tonight started about 15 minutes ago. It's cloudy outside, but right now the Moon is visible through a thinner layer of clouds. About the left third of the Moon is obscured by the Earth right now, and the amount is growing quickly. I'd go outside to get a better look, but it's 18 degrees Fahrenheit out so I'd rather not.

Yeah, I just checked it about 2 minutes ago. It's almost a third covered!

EDIT: oops, meant to say half :(

Moon condition upgraded to about half-covered.

I'm looking forward to around 10:00 EST, when it should start becoming a nice reddish color.

Anybody want to take some pictures of the eclipse? I'd go outside right now, but the weather is kinda gross and I have homework to do. How long is it supposed to last until?

If it lasts maybe 5 or 6 more hours till it's night time here, I might see it.

I would take pictures, but they don't turn out too good at night. Flash doesn't work on an object that's hundreds of thousands of miles away :P

I'd go out to take some pictures, but it's still 18 degrees and the eclipse is still on the verge of being behind a cloud...

It's almost entirely covered now. 4/5, maybe 5/6.

Regarding my earlier post about a Cartoon...

Image

Main Character, havent named him yet, though I've been calling him Mr. Yith after I drew a picture of him with a briefcase and called it "Mr. Yith goes to Washington"

Suck it up and get out there. It's -12 celsius(10 degrees fahrenheit) here.

You turn the flash off.

Even so, my crappy little camera can't zoom in enough to get a quality photo of the eclipse.

There exists such a thing as a "delete button," in fact...

Too late now, though. I spoiled your chance to use the button. That's what I do. I crush dreams.
