We had to do a report on a sport for gym class last year. Someone picked lawnmower racing and got a C-, even though they did it perfectly, with only the words "NOT A REAL SPORT" written on the paper with red pen.

I'm no curling fanatic, but I'm prepared to bet that 1) the teams do compete with heart and 2) there is a trophy to be awarded in at least one curling championship.

NLL Championships aren't for a while, and MLL season hasn't even started yet. I'm looking for something between now and June.

Perhaps the start of the MLB or Arena Football League.
