Guys... I... I hate to say it... but from what I've heard of the tracks, Panic at the Disco's new album Pretty. Odd. looks to be the best damn thing we'll hear all year.

That is until cake comes out.

Also, Speaking of cake, I have to get a 4 song demo out to the public so they'll actually know who I am, and I don't know weather to use tracks from Cake, or just write 4 new songs.

Songs to use:
1. COLA
2. Abu's Demise
3. Running Blind
4. Welcome to Bucketheadland -or- Still Alive

Make it four new songs that'll come as a bonus to whoever preorders Cake. If preorders aren't as high as you'd like, you can make them a bonus CD for a contest or something.

...four songs from your album may also work out; how many are you planning on having in it again?

Planning on six or seven, so who would pay cash to hear 2 more tracks?

I like, one shows my Pink Floyd side, one shows my sell out every day punk rock side, another shows my metal side, and the last one shows the music I like or the games that inspire me.

But I'd have to do a completely new version of Abu's demise, and I'd have to completely rewrite Running Blind, because I don't like its current version. I seriously hate the current version.

I'm compiling a list of places I might live.

MARS
Pros
  • Away from the distractions of the world
  • Away from stupid people
  • Gorgeous scenery
  • Access to top-notch soundstages
  • Lots of bounding around
  • Would have time to learn wood carving
Cons
  • Not the kind of place to raise your kids
  • Cold as Hell
  • No one there to raise them if you did
  • Hot as Hell when not cold as Hell
  • Red gets boring after awhile
  • No Internet access
  • Would probably go insane from loneliness

VERDICT: A great place to visit, but I probably wouldn't want to live there.

Cola, the Demo you sent me was REALLY rough. Like, the first part was good, but the drums were kind of off when the song actually got started, yanno?

I know, I think I explained it to you, it missed a beat when the snare was coming in.

Thats not the final cut, dude.

When I heard it I though it was the guitar was off. Are those real drums on the demo or a drum machine?

Drum machine, made the pattern myself, and it sucked. Currently working on it in ProTools with a drum pad, and its sounding better, I just have to get timing and everything done, as well as getting GearBOX to work on the mac so I can record the guitar straight through. It ended crapping up.

Okay, so I'm going to be passing out my demo at School in one of those little cardboard things and its going to be autographed, numbered, and my own personal scribbles will be written on each.

Cake, it self, is going to be sold online in a Jewel Case from a manufacture and Amazon, and a limited run of 200 is going to be sold in a White DigiPak, which will be individually numbered, autographed, and hand drawn whatever I feel like's on the cover, and the CD is going to be a CD-R burned from my computer, so it's going to be the closest thing to the artist you can get.

Hay, didn't Buckethead do that one time?
And how much are you gonna be selling Cake for?

Yes, thats where I got the idea. Follow in the image of the best.

Okay, I think it may be selling for either $10 or $14 from the manufacturer after I pay for a year of hosting on its site and on amazon, which is around only $30 or so.

The DigiPaks are going to be sold for $15, at most (So I can afford both new strings, as well as more blank discs and DigiPaks just in case I want to do another run of Cake later on).

Send me a PM saying you want to reserve a copy of the DigiPak "When it gets done" so you can get a good number. #1 isn't going to be sold, so when they're selling, and you preordered one, you'll be getting numbers between #2 and #200.

'K, cool. Maybe later on you could make a mass produced version complete with Rusty booklet so people who bought it from the first run will feel cooler and you'll make more money when everyone who already has it buys it again for the booklet.

The wiring in my house is quite peculiar. The circuit breaker turned off the power to my room twice recently. In the process of being inconvenienced, I found out that the electrical sockets in my room are not hooked into the same circuit as the ceiling fan/lights in my room, but they do share the circuit with the dishwasher in the kitchen. (?)

They wouldn't buy it for just the booklet, I'd have to write new songs that would flow in with the story.

Or if you recorded Welcome to Bucketheadland or Still Alive for the demo, you could just put one of those on it.

If you need someone to make you a website, your ol' pal Mike isn't too bad with the PHPs and SQLs. But he would probably need some help with design.

I have a ton of space at my site, and I can put up a sub-directory.
