No, I'm just saying all those bands are really really boring.

QFT.

I'm also saddened at the death of the Guitar Solo.

So, in my music career, its my belief that I must give birth to a new type of Guitar Solo.

I will call it...Jorging.

Fair dough. I'll agree that Disturbed are pretty boring from the one album I own of theirs. Nickelback are, as I've said before, good for one album anyway. Slipknot I wouldn't honestly call boring though, they're certainly varied enough, particularly on their 3rd album. I don't normally listen to them that much but they're always good for a quick blast, I'd say.

Whenever I hear the words "Stricken" or "disturbed" I always lose.

Aye. Iowa seems to be their most consistent to me. I like.
I should probably give my Disturbed album a decent listen, but it's not gonna be anywhere near the top of my priority listening list any time soon. Thanks to Xmas and a mini spending spree beforehand, I've got, like, 20 albums to listen to...

This is basically the oddest part of the forum. It moves at a mile a minute.

I have just discovered a new love for trance music.
I put my feet on the subwoofer as i listen to it to really feel the beat.

Eh, I'm more of a house or electro kind of guy. There are a few good trance artists though, like Infected Mushroom and Crystal Method (though arguably they're more like breakbeat then trance).

Unfortunately, my iPod headphones don't have the bass I need for trance. Anyone wanna recommend some cheap headphones with good bass?

I have a pair of $10 Sony earbuds. They're quite good for bass, but I must say I don't listen to much trance anymore. I'm more of an electro/house/synthpop kinda guy.

I've blown three pairs of 'phones on Techmaster P.e.b.

Also, Cola might know something about cheap headphones with good bass capacity.

For the record, I like trance AND Synth Pop.

I pretty much like all electronic stuff in general.

^no. you're missing out on some great stuff if all you listen to is Daft Punk.

KRAFTWERK. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They pretty much pioneered electronic music as we know it today.

Some other good house/synthpop artists: Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers), Felix Da Housecat, Basement Jaxx, Masters at Work, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, New Order and Depeche Mode.

Trance, I don't know a whole lot about, but those two I mentioned earlier are good.

I listen to a lot more than Daft Punk, but they're one of the only house artists I really like.

Electro/synthpop: Joy Electric, Freezepop, Mr. Pacman, Boards of Canada, Cut the Red Wire, Eiffel 65, The Echoing Green, Shiny Toy Guns, The Faint, Imogen Heap, Norway, Venus Hum, wormsign.

I really wanna get into Kraftwerk, but I don't have the monies to buy a whole lot o' music.

Skull Candy Ear Buds.

The only thing that sucks about them is that they don't say which one is left and which one is right, so it gets confusing when you listen to some songs.
