Man, this has been the most boring New Year's celebration I've ever had.

Probably because there was no actual celebrating involved.

Whatever, I'm going to bed. Happy stuff, everybody.

I got to drink a half a glass of something.

And the neighbours shouted at us... Sheesh.

Half a glass of what? Water? Liquid nitrogen? Dirt? Booze?

That post would have been better if she had just said "half a glass of".

In other news, Mike has 1111 posts.

I think it's sad that I drank a glass of wine like four days before New Years, but I don't think I'm drinking anything today/tomorrow.

Also Wine+Chocolate+BBQ Don't go together, trust me.

[s]Yes. We should all be secretly plotting and backstabbing each other in our never-ending goal of total and complete internet domination! Our plans have started small: only garner the trust and public interest of a small forum, and then, using them and our own influences, to EXPAND! We'll send out scout members to other forums, create other websites, change them to our own image from the inside out! We'll grow, slowly, inexorably, constantly moving as a glacier marches onward, crushing and absorbing everything in it's path. We'll surprise and take over more types of websites, post youtube videos with subliminal messaging, gaining millions of followers a week, totally devoted to our cause. Some people will notice, some people will complain and try to stop us, but we will blot them out as an elephant would an ant. Our numbers would grow exponentially, both eliminating those who oppose us and gaining all the rest. Faster and faster our effects will be noticed. Every page on wikipedia will bear our name, every article on digg will sing our praises. First Yahoo Search will fall to us, then Ask, and finally the giant Google will kneel before our mighty army. Our hordes will sweep across this vast internet, taking all our eyes lay upon. We will be as gods of cyberspace! Our power will be limited only by our own minds! We will be unstoppable! We are unstoppable! You cannot resist![/s]No, they probably should moderate, Noid ;)

I think the saddest thing is that I can't seem to bring myself to like any alcoholic drink.

I like some. Not many, but some. Rum is fairly nasty. I don't care for beer. Some wine is good. I'm forgetting the other two drinks I've had before.

Actually, I tried rum with coke once. It didn't seem so bad.

Well, EVERY OTHER ALCOHOLIC DRINK.

Oh, yeah. The rum I had was straight, and it was awful.

Just you wait until Ace has been completely corrupted to the Dark Side as well.

Only alcoholic drink I've found that I like is Mike's Lemonade. But that's because you can't taste the alcohol.

Acquired taste, I guess.

Alls I know is that when I go to Greece this summer, I'm gettin' drunk. (As a teenager I am contractually obligated to get drunk at some point; as a goody-two-shoes, however, I am contractually obligated to do so legally.)

I do not understand this. I don't intend to drink alcohol ever.

Not that it's because I'm a goody-two shoes or whatever you will, it's just that I don't want to mess up my body. Same goes for smoking.

Alcohol in moderation has actually been shown to be good for your heart, Rusty. A glass of red wine a day, for example.

Isn't it addicting, though? And is it necessary or highly recommended that I drink it?

Then unless I have heart problems I see no reason to drink it.

But why would you feel obligated to get drunk because you're a teenager?

Whoa, deja vu. I could have sworn I've seen this exact alcohol discussion before. It was last year on Gabbly, I believe.

Being a man who has smoked, I can assure you it's some groty crap. Alcohol, on the other hand, is fun to put in your body.
