Argus is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. Some of their later stuff is kinda hit and miss though, since a lot of the original members left. And Dragonforce would be alright if it weren't for the fact ALL THEIR SONGS SOUND THE SAME. Seriously. IantheGecko wrote: Machinae Supremacy. Thou shalt be amazed. This.

Something with LOTS of energy. I mean, serious energy. Thrice. Mostly their early stuff. They're punk (or in the last two albums, experimental). I'd consider giving them a try. |

Yeah. That's step 3 and a half. Except I didn't put that one in because it doesn't work so well and it's discriminatory to people without fireplaces. |

METAL. You need In Flames. Metal that actually has songs that sound different. Just don't pick anything from their last three albums. Ew. |

The thing that kills most metal for me is the screamy/growly vocals, I just don't like the way it sounds. There needs to be more metal bands that use normal vocals and aren't Dragonforce. |

^Agreed. That is why I usually say I like hard rock and not metal, even though some metal is good. Anything with incomprehensible screaming or growling just ruins a whole song, even if it was otherwise good. |

Example: Red (the band). When my friend first told me about them, I thought "Oh hay, a metal band that's actually original and uses pianos and violins". ...Then the screaming started. "...then the screaming started" is a great way to end any sentance |

As far as I know neither Moses nor Strong Bad had/has red feet. Strong Bad wears red boots. Apparently, someone has not been paying attention. |

Also, I don't think that's Moses. Considering the season, I would guess it's a shepherd. |

This.I agree with Dragonforce...if they weren't using a load of guitars, they wouldn't be so annoying, not to mention be ridiculously hard to master in Guitar Hero III. I just got into Machinae Supremacy not too long ago. Some of their music is in the In The Groove game series and I really liked their style. I stumbled across their website a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them now. |
