That's not true, Ace. No one has even remotely suggested that they want you gone. And I'm speaking for the ENTIRE Admin/Moderator staff when I say that, too.

And something you touched on in your second paragraph there: people resolving their differences. That's actually a very smart thing to say, because at the heart of this problem is a difference of opinion regarding what this forum is here for, and what should and should not be allowed. The root of the problem - at least the way I see it - is that this is a Homestar Runner forum that some people no longer associate with Homestar Runner anymore. Cola has said it a dozen times himself that he doesn't consider it a Homestar Runner forum. But whether he considers it so is irrelevant: it's what Joey created it for, and it's still the reason the majority of users come here.

As such, we Moderators and Admins are charged with trying to maintain at least a certain amount of decorum on this forum. And it saddens me that, whenever we try to, someone always wants to give us hassles about it. Heck, none of this would have been a problem if Cola hadn't tried to argue about a post edit!

And believe me, I get tired of all this too. Do you honestly think I want all the headaches of arguments and drama? No, I don't! But at the same time, I can't just sit back and let things slide all the time.

You know what I hate? Some of the non-wfwfers stereotypes of us. Yes, we are an annoying, cliqueish bunch, but gosh-diddly-darnit, we're not all like that. It seems to many that we hate people who don't agree with are opinions, and that's not true. I'm friends with a lot of people many of the wfwfers would consider gaiafags. Mandy is one of my best friends, and yet I have every reason in the world to hate her. Heck, I'll admit it.

I'M CONSIDER MYSELF FRIENDS WITH WHITE_AND_NERDY.

Sure, she's obsessed with retarded stuff and is a deprived attention whore, but when you get to know her, she's a really nice girl.

Didy's post makes sense. The only thing I kind of disagree about is that this forum is still primarily about Homestar. As much as you can argue about that, and regardless of what Joey created it for, it's not. It's obvious that the majority of the subject is not Homestar related. Are we technically still a Homestar forum? Yes, we are. But just like this forum became kind of a separate entity from the Wiki (if you'll recall, the entire point of this forum was to supplement the Knowledge Base and nothing else), we've kind of moved away from Homestar discussion.

That doesn't mean we can't and don't discuss Homestar. The boards up top are still pretty active. All I'm saying is the majority of the discussion is not about Homestar and thus, whether anyone wants it to or not, the board is primarily not about the website Homestarrunner.com.

I had that line in there for a bit so any phrase with the word 'tire' in it would be changed to 'I HATE TIRES'. =P

6 months ago this was a problem. But I haven't seen anyone stereotype the wfwfers for a long time.
