I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out to me. I think either the vampires had his head set up so they could tug a wire and his head would turn or we're seeing it how Neville saw it.

Yeah I noticed it too. That whole scene was just so eerie and chilling. And Will Smith really pulled it off, I mean if I was in his position I would have reacted in the exact same way.

I can see it going down as one of those movie moments. You know the ones I'm talking about.
