Today was my last day of middle school (yes, I passed), but as awesome as that is, it can literally bring tears to my eyes that I may never see some of my amazing friends again. That thought's inspired me to make this thread, where you can remember and ramble on about old friends in school, great teachers (or not so great), girlfriends or boyfriends (or at least someone you wanted to go out with but either failed or was too afraid to ask), or whoever/whatever else that you have never seen since you left a school but want to remember forever. Not only can you come here to vent your feelings about these "lost" people, but you can use it as a sort of memento for later on. I don't really know where to start, so I'll let someone else reminisce first. |

Why won't you see them? Don't you all go to the same High School? |

Not really. At least half of my friends are going to Waltrip, a few are going to Scarborough (where I'm going), and the rest are going to some other obscure schools no one knows or cares about. Not to mention the fact that some of my friends weren't even in my grade, and how not all my friends passed. My bro says the trend is that a lot of the Waltrip people head over to Scarborough after the first year or so, but I don't know how many of them are gonna be friends of mine. I'm glad I have contacts for some of 'em, and quite a few signed my yearbook, but it still sucks that some of the goodbyes I said yesterday might've been my last ones to them. |

A new high school was built in my town which gave people another option of schools to go to. Sure a few people went to the other one, but my closest friends went to the school I went to. And there was some people at the other school that I kept in contact with as well. All in all, it's not so bad, sometimes it makes things more interesting when you get a cleaned slate and can meet some new people. |

Well yeah, but don'tcha hate it when you meet awesome people but you'll only get to know them for a few years before going your seperate ways? Also, I'm not so sure you guys get the point of this thread. It's not just so I can sit, whine about how I'm not gonna see people again, and annoy the crap out of everybody. It so you can talk about old friends and teachers and other school stuff from the past that you want to remember. |

lol well yeah, that's happened a lot to me, I've moved more times then years lived. But I got lucky and got through high school without moving away from town at least so I guess it's just something I rather appreciate. |
