Well, It's the last Friday in June, and you know what that means: School's Out! Now, some of you may be in places where school isn't out becasue you get your big vacation in winter, or you may be attending summer school, or you may be like me and haven't been in school for more than twenty years.

Never the less: This is a thread for celebrating the end of yet another school year.
No pinching the teachers, please.
All homework must be turned in at the end of the thread.

Me too...I miss my friends, even though I see them at church and youth group...most of them...and I miss being away from my obnoxious family!

Woah. Where do you live, by the time your school is over, I'll be getting ready to go back to school. Of course, back to school items are already being sold. Sick freaks.

I finished school around June 14, so this is around my third week of being out.

Sleeping in late = happy Kirby.

When you're in uni, school ends much earlier. In fact, my summer is half done already.

Around here (where I am), the public school systems end their school year today (June 30).
Dark Grapfruit is of course correct that college ends a lot sooner than elementary or secondary school does. When I was in college, the second academic semester ended at the end of May, followed by a practium (practical skills training) until the end of June. If you were lucky you could get a summer job at the same place you did your practicum at, but I was never that lucky.

Haha, our assignments are voluntary, our assigned thing was to read some World War II book, but it was only for the people who joined "book club" :p

I've got camp starting the middle of July... >_>

I've been working for the last few days, I'm saving up for the most awesome guitar amp.

I got out on Monday and I guess I should think about doing my AP assignments before it gets too late.

And Jon, that avatar is so awesome I just exploded.

I've been working in the local Dunkin' Donuts, when you're running around like you're a chicken with your head cut off an 8 hour shift is a bit too much, even with a break.

Summer reading lists are the devil!! I really feel that they should be banned. Kidlets SHOULD read some during the summer, but they should read what they want. I never got anything from required reading. OK, truth be known, I never really got anything from literature class in general. Summer reading lists take away from worthwhile things like sports/band camps and video games. :)

My summer means no class, but that means my work and research shift into high gear. Add that to the analysis I'm doing for a paper being written by the people who took Radar last semester (the class is over and grades are final, yet we're all still working on our final projects), and I've got a busy summer.

My schooling ended back in the first part of May. Not only am I out for summer, I am out indefinitely (unless later down the road I decide to pursue graduate school... probably not).

I can't believe how glad I am that I am not going back to school in two months (like the rest of you suckers). :)

I'm in the same boat Stu, except that I finished at the end of May. And I'll probably be going to grad school eventually. But hopefully only for two years. Then I'll really be done.

School isn't officially over for me until July 20 (I'm taking that summer course whose bum I am totally kicking with a 98% average). Then I get a month before I go back full-time.
