I can hardly believe what I am hearing. A Harvest moon game. But this time, they added an action RPG system with monsters and dungeons and saving the word and such.

I'm having mixed thoughts about this. That's an understatement, I'm thoughts are comepletely boggled here.

On one hand, they make the graphics all typical-animey, unlike the childish Harvest Moon style I know and love. And It feels like a total sellout that they would add such a Large emphasis on RPG action.

On the other hand, an action RPG with farming elements...That sounds like a cool idea. And I read in Nintendo power that you don't have to do any monster-fighting if you don't want to. Which is good, that means that I won't probbly have to defend my farm from monsters every day and shiz-nizz. Also, I love that they are making the Movement Stylus-Based rather than button based.

I just cannot see Harvest Moon as an Action RPG. It is a good thing that is optional and could introduce some RPG fans to the series, though the problem is that if the battle system isn't accepted by many, it would have costed a bit of money.
