You know, occasionally, when you're sitting in class and all of the sudden you'll hear this really high pitched like....thing. It doesn't sound like an actual sound but more like your ears freaking out on you? It usually happens in quiet places for me. I know other people have this, does anyone know what it's all about?

Are you talking about
tinnitus? I usually only hear it when it's quiet, but if I focus on it, I can hear it when I want to. To make it go away, I'll just focus on something else.
Today I was really happy because I got one of those white audio plugs to headphone cords, so I could play my iPod on the TV speakers. The catch was that I'd have that high pitched ringing, and it gave me a headache for the day.

I also see

Woah. Those things. Cool, but what's the name of those tiny tiny little colorful dots you see at night when you close your eyes, eh?
