Things I've done wrong:
*Left the forum completely without saying goodbye
*Left two continuous RP games that I was playing with no, absolutely no excuse and no fore warning

I just want to be excepted back even though I have committed these horrible crimes. I was scared of this place (largely due to the fact that certain people ran me off in the Religion&Politics section). I was fed up and had it with that and I left two beautiful RPs with no excuse in the process. All I can say is: I'm sorry. And those who expected me to play those games should be ticked that I didn't tell them of it sooner.

You dont really need to be sorry for those things. I dissappeared for like 3 months once with no warning. During that time, I think I discontinued like 2 games I made. No one really gets mad if you leave unnannounced. People do it all the time. We understand if you are busy, or jus tdont feel like coming on or something, so dont worry about it.

Well, I'm not gonna defend Rusty, that was unnecessary jerkiness, but he is right. Wes did offend some people, and this is a pointless topic (we have a thread for stuff like this). It's just that that's not the point.

Look guys, I forgive him. If we were in his shoes, we would be doing the same thing. At least Wes had the stuffing to come out and say he did wrong instead of just posting again. For that I think he deserves some kudos.

Harsh guys, very harsh, although I hardly know Wes so I'm not entirely sure, maybe he took it to the extreme.

But we all need forgiveness now and then, otherwise we're being harsh, grudeful, and bitter, and I'm the last person who wants to see this innocent place turn unwelcome. Well, maybe a mod or two wants it more, like dormar, or that Jones.

Yes, and pretty much everyone who responded to him was just as bad. Some people were, in fact, baiting him. Just because you disagree with someone's opinion does not give you the right to flame them. Heck, Pianoman, one of the few who really did have the right to be offended by him if anyone was to be, even he realized that Wes was not being intentionally hurtful in expressing his opinions.

But I feel this topic has pretty much outlived its usefulness, since it appears that, instead of trying to restore some semblance of civility, people are simply using this thread as a means to justify their own inappropriate behavior.

Seems to me that Wes is actually trying to not be a jerk. Some of you should try to learn a lesson from this.
