And so it begins.

I think UNC and Florida have the best chances. Texas A&M, [s]Kevin Durant[/s]Texas and Georgetown are going to go far. I also advise people to watch out for Winthrop and Creighto. I also think Syracuse got screwed.

There were a few that got the shaft. That is true.

And Rad, isn't your old school in there?

No, that's Eastern Kentucky (they suck).

WKU would be in the tournament if they were in EKU's conference, mainly because the worst team in the Sun Belt could PWN anyone in the OVC.

I'm kind of glad WKU didn't make it in... The Sun Belt champs have to face Memphis in the first round. North Texas is gonna get PWN'D worse than Kentucky.

(Yes, I'm a Kentucky fan, but I'm also realistic)

I haven't done much work on my bracket yet, but look for Vanderbilt in the Elite 8.

Are you kidding me? Have you seen Georgetown? They completely and utterly dismantled Pittsburgh in the Big East Final. Hoya Paranoia is back. The only team that I see beating Georgetown is UNC.

I gotta disagree with you on Florida..
I don't think they're gonna make it through. They did get a sweet bracket, but I don't think they're gonna win it all.

I say they are going to the to the Finals. I don't think they will win. I think either G'town or Carolina will, but the Gators will make a return trip to the finals.

I think it's pretty interesting to that see Louisville drew Lexington as their first round site. You know how close that is? I can make the drive from Freedom Hall to Rupp Arena in about an hour.

Maybe someone in Lexington will convince Pitino to move back to blue and white.

You want to talk about home court? Let's talk about UNC playing their first two games in Winston-Salem. W-S is just a half-hour away from Chapel Hill. UCLA has a nice run too. They won't have to leave the State of California until the Final Four.

I love the locations for opening round games...

Nothing about Sacramento says "East"... Nothing about Spokane says Midwest... etc etc

Yeah, that stuff always confused me. It's like they want to drive us crazy.

I'm sure it's got something to do with TV scheduling.
There's no other reason that I can see.

There are plenty of arenas that could hold the games in their regions.

Also, what's with an automatic bid team playing in the "play-in" game? Shouldn't autos be guaranteed a Thursday or Friday game?

Yup... BYU plays Xavier in the first round... 80 miles from Xavier's homecourt.

Oh well, after playing UNLV on their home floor for the conference tourney championship, I guess they should be used to it.

Hey, are we throwing together an ESPN bracket group like we did last year? I'm up for it.

Sounds like a good idea.

Go ahead and set one up. I'll play. I'm sure BTG, Lahi, and Stu will be in for it.

I'm no good with college b-ball, so I'll pick a random college.

UCLA. A few family members on my mom's side have gone there, including my cousin Rebekah right now. So I guess...GO BRUINS!

Okay, I haven't been paying attention to NCAA basketball this year, but I threw my guesses in there. Hey, there are so many upsets, sometimes it pays just to guess.
