My recipe for Jamalaya came about in much the same way. I was scrounging in the fridge late one evening, and all I could find were some leftover sausage, peppers, garlic, and onion. So I threw them all together with some rice, added a bit of cumin and oregano, and voila! Instant success.

I once made some pancakes and topped them with some bananas sauteed in butter. Now that was delicious.

My burrito might not sound that great, but it was a Culinary delight!
Spice of the west
A nice solid meat.
Class A eggs with butter & salt.

Aren't Gumbo and Jambalaya basically meals created by the mutual ancestor of Justin Wilson and MacGuyver, anyway? Every recipe I've seen for both of them list almost every ingredient as "optional", and most have additional ingredients penciled in.

This one time, I took cold Mountain Mikes (aka best pizza in the world, also the only reason to come to california (except for disneyland)) and then put maple and strawberry syrup on it and then threw the little peppers they give you with the pizza on and then added powdered sugar. Good stuff.
