Give your thoughts on what's on television.

I don't care what anybody says. The Simpsons is stupid.

Discovery channel go!

Some people are now theorizing that why the movie industry is tanking right now (well, besides that the movies suck) is that TV is getting so good.

I mean, I get as many laughs in a 22 minute episode of The Office than the newest comedy out there or a 44 episode of LOST leaves me just as much on the edge of my seat as a recent thriller (not to mention it makes me think).

And that's not all. There are plenty of excellent shows on TV that are part of this better and smarter television generation: Heroes, House, and the Sopranos are just a few. So....imho....TV is just getting better and better.

I agree very much, but I'd like to watch all those, but I haven't really watched from the beginning of the season. Except for house, which you don't really need to, but I love house.

And I don't have HBO.

And I missed The Office last night :(

I'm really starting to like Britcoms. Ever since my brother's girlfriend showed us Extras, I'm hooked. And the original The Office is really good, too.

I've always liked Last of the Summer Wine.

My stepdad likes that.
I've never seen it.
My favorite show on PBS (after Nova) has to be the Red Green Show. Seriously. I actually cried watching the last episode. Thankfully, PBS is still showing it.

All the shows I like don't seem to be on at times I can watch them anymore.

By "shows," I of course mean "cartoons."

Well if you don't like the commercials, change the channel when the commercials are on.

The Simpsons suck. I cringe when I watch it.

Anyone who bashes The Simpsons has to answer a question - ever see the first seasons? The ones that made it what it is?

anyways, the NBC Thursday Comedy lineup is pretty nice. I watch it.

(it has My Name Is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, and some other stuff.)

Uh, yeah. I guess I should of rephrased that. The Simpsons currently sucks. I love seasons 1-9 however. Besides the new seasons, I'm a Simpsons nut. Not a basher.

There's too much crap coming out of the Telly nowadays. So there aren't many new series that I watch.
