Get out of my head. That was my idea. :P

A song I'd love to see is Renegade by Styx. Minus the slow bit at the beginning, of course. I can imagine an interesting mix of slower and then suddenly intense here.

It's a good song for a marching band's "80's rock" type show, so it'll work nicely in Guitar Hero.

It was my favorite song to play in college, mainly because we played it so freakin' loud.

i'd like to see Black Flag the most, that would be awesome. I honestly don't think "classic rock" needs much more GH love, i think they've covered that pretty well in a lot of cases. I would love to see a few more esoteric bands, but still people who rock hard. Ted Leo would be nice. Also, he's pretty weird, but I'd love to see some Beck songs.
I'm not sure how esoteric Ted Leo and Beck really are, but I totally am behind those two having songs on III along with Black Flag. Just imagine "Jealous Again" on extra hard...

Cain - P.O.D.
Eternal - P.O.D.
Boom - P.O.D.
Speak - Godsmack
Vampires - Godsmack
The Enemy - Godsmack
Train of Angels - Joe Satriani
Searching - Joe Satriani (I'd be allllll over the bass feature on that one
:) )
Berserkers - Black Label Society (bass is also amazing in this one)
Something from the semi-new Three Days Grace album (I don't wanna stop playing Joe to listen and see which I like best)

yeah i know, but i suppose they are a bit more off the radar than some of the other suggestions. the REALLY weird underground thing i like probably wouldn't go well on GH. (Suburban Kids With Biblical Names' "Funeral Face"...awesome!)

Blue Man Group has some pretty hard-rocking songs. Like "The Current". And "Shadows Pt. 2" has an awesome PVC riff.

Guitar, Ian. Guitar.

Even though those songs actually have guitar parts, it would be too easy.

What about....
Mechanic God Creation by Arch Enemy? It has solid drop C Metal sound, and seeing how GH1 was Punk rock, GH2 was Hard Rock, then GH3 should be Metal....Like, ExtremeMetal.

Anything besides Freebird. I do not like that song at all.

Hmm I have aaaaalways wanted to play (or at least pretend to play) Holland, 1945 by Neutral Milk Hotel. Just because I think it would rule.

Yeah, I was saying I hated Freebird. It's not a good song, and I don't think it should have been a song in Number 2.

Fight For Your Right has a solo, Sabotage doesn't.

Um, dude. Freebird rocks. :)

What's wrong with it being in Guitar Hero, especially as the last song? What else would you choose? What song more clearly defines "wicked guitar solo"?

That can be applied to any one guitarist. If anything, they would make it an original recording.

"Rock and Roll" was used in a car ad. I'd think that a video game is far better than a car ad.

Moby Dick would be a good one, but most of it's the drum solo.

Ah, I got it.

The Buzzing, Suspend/Suspension, Free the Three, or The End of His World. All by Zao.

They'd probably be in Bonus though, considering how Hardcore they are.
