Okay, the fact there is no topic on this (or at least not one on the first few pages) makes me sad.

It's the best doctor show on TV right now, IMO. It perfectly blends the right amount of funny with doctor stuff.

Plus it stars God.

House is my second favorite show on TV right now. You'll never guess my favorite show.

Anyway, the episode last night about the Romani kid was pretty good -- a toothpick! The song toward the end was good too, In the Waiting Line by Zero 7.

Love love love House ^_^ Although one patented way to make my boyfriend livid is to mention that it got a big boost from being shown after American Idol during its first season. He would not and could not believe it when I told him (even though it's how my mom and older sister got into the show) that it's a classic network ploy.

oh, hush.

i've only seen one episode. the one where the teens are getting sick from designer pants, or something. all the while, house is sitting there, saying "drugs. he did drugs. that's why he's sick. case closed."

Well, according to the DVD, Bryan Singer had written the role as an American. Originally he didn't want to consider Hugh Laurie, but he was such a convincing actor that he got the part.

And I cannot disagree with Mr. Singer. I've heard Hugh speak with his normal British accent, and he seems like a pleasant guy. Which is ... un-Houselike.

But when he does his American accent, surprisingly his voice takes on several levels: you can hear pain, menace, sadness, and sympathy all at the same time.

(I don't know if you are from the US, JD, but I'm guessing it's something the domestic audience picks up. I work with a British guy who watches "House," and he doesn't see the appeal either....)

By the way, here's something else for everyone to look out for: there are several aspects of the show that draw strongly from House's inspiration, Sherlock Holmes. (A fact that has been admitted by Singer.) I'll just start off with one: the names House and his friend, Wilson, are quite similar to "Holmes" and "Watson."

And if you have a really sharp eye and a Holmes affection, look out for the number of House's apartment. ;)

I love House--in fact--it's one of the only things that I watch on TV nowadays. I love the style portrayed by House throughout the series, and it was amazing the first time I heard him in his actual British voice.

House is the only show I've watched any of recently. It's pretty good and interesting. I also wish I would've watched 24, but I never have time anyways, and that's what everyone else I know watches.

He may not win them with Joey, but I'll certainly give him a few.

I'll be honest: when the show first came out, it was very well done and original. Now, it seems to be going into Hollywood fodder for plots. Not that I hate it, but they can at least give some creativity. So, umm...

I lost myself. I like it, but it feels way too much pop culture pressured now.

I love when they do the musical montages. You get a great sense of the characters and the music always fits perfectly.

I don't really think so. Yeah, it seems a little cheesy (the rape story was the worst episode so far) but they can still do really interesting stories. The gypsy one that they did (^) was pretty good, and I defy anyone to say the whole House vs Tritter story wasn't awesome.

So I loved it before it was made!

I also love me some House. Tapeworm! Brilliant.

Hugh Laurie did a TV series based off a book series called Jeeves and Wooster back around 1990 in England. Funny funny stuff. He plays a 20-something nobleman with lots of free time and money. His butler, named Jeeves, is significantly more sensible and intelligent than Wooster, and hilarity ensues.

Anyway, point is Hugh Laurie is amazing. And I love House.

Last week's House was one of the best ones I've seen in a long time. Dave Matthews did a great job as the savant patient.

An awesome show totally. My only beef with it is that every episode follows the EXACT SAME FORMULA. Which is why I don't usually watch it, but if my mom is watching it I'm game!

Most of my TV I get secondhand from DVDs these days anyway.

Revived.

I really hope Cubaman becomes a reoccurring character. Especially if all of House's team is really leaving.

I was pretty surprised that House decided to fire Chase. However, once that happened, I knew Cameron wasn't going to stick around.

Basically, I can't wait until next season, though.

I worry that Chase, Foreman and Cameron are really gone for good. I thought it would all work out and they'd be back for next season, but after seeing House's reaction to it all I think they won't be.

And that sucks. The show isn't all about House, Fox. The three doctors are a huge part of the show.
