There's one from last year where they showcased an anti-tank missile at Redstone Arsenal (One of the main gates to the Arsenal was 1/4 mile from where I used to live in Huntsville, but the test site was several miles from my apartment). It was cool enough that they were in my town, but there are a couple of times when you can see my friend's dad (he's one of the Army's test engineers and probably the one of the smartest people I know).

I've seen about five, maybe six episodes... Favorite weapon so far was the liquid carpet bomb type thing... I forget the actual name for it...

Brilliant stuff.

Future weapons, I always had a problem with that theme, I mean I'm sure plenty of other appliances will appear in the future. I mean why does it always have to be about killing somebody, can't it be about the convenience of tomorrow too? I hardly see how all this warfare is really the big issue, I mean you really want to solve a problem a little conversing always helps. I mean it helps with kindergarten, and considering that most of the countries do act a little immature, I wouldn't be suprised if an old school teacher came in and gave a little peace making. So What's your opinion? Am I wrong and does convenience and conversing suck eggs? Or do I have a point? Because alot of regions here tend to declare a battle kind of quick.

How so? How can you make that generalization and assumption without asking random city folk or people around your neughborhood? What about peacemakers do you think they like seeing stuff blow up?

Peacemakers, as far as I can tell, have remote controls that they can use to change the channel.

Not everyone that watches the show prays for war. I, for one, just like knowing that our troops and police have that stuff if/when they need it.

The show seems to show just as many defensive technologies and less-than-lethal weapons as it shows offensive weapons.

I saw the MP-7 last night. That thing was AWEXOME!!! Seriously, a gun about the size of three pistols that can go through both sides of a helmet.

The neat thing about that was the size of the bullet it fired.
They were roughly .18 caliber. They were mega small (like half the size of a 9 mm round) and yet they can pierce steel. Yeah, that's kinda violent and scary.. Of course, in the old days, when "we" were fighting semi-rational thinking people, overwhelming technology would discourage fighting OR keep it from spreading..

I learned about this show trying to win myself some free Xbox Live Marketplace Points from a contest they were having earlier this month. I didn't win, and I still haven't watched the show. But now that I hear that it is good, I think I will try it, and see how it is.

Yeah, now we can use massive fuel bombs to get red of 'em. I want to see the MP-5 on there...

Too bad the MP5 has been around for like...30 years.

No, no MP5's, but how about some of those rifles that are competing for the spot as the military standard rifle (Like HK516, XM8 (even though its been canceled..., etc.)

You forgot one thing. There's always a dominant and acceptedly-perfect teacher in kindergarten. It's virtually impossible for one person to be accepted by all as the all-knowing, all-powerful ruler. The kid who screws up stomps his/her feet, pouts, and picks on the kid who didn't do anything (basically the equivalent to the country at fault bombing the defending country). So, if the means of a school teacher worked in a "larger" scale, we'd have no reason for the teacher of the world in the first place.

With that out of the way, I love the show. I'm always interested in new weaponry, even if I can't get my hands on it :p That bendy-rifle deal that could be used around corners what pretty cool. So was the Dragon Skin. My favorite would have to be the M107, though. I actually never saw the episode with that in it, but it's been my favorite sniper rifle since before I ever even heard about FW. Actually, I pretty much love all the firearms. Never been too big of a fan of the bombs and missiles and stuff, though, since I don't think it would be as fun to push buttons as it is to pull triggers...for some reason...

Maybe it wasn't the MP-5, I saw something on the military channel about a gun that looked awesome, it was still under development, I was hoping to see it on there. I've been PWN'd.

The more I watch this show, the more I want to meet the old dude from Alford Technologies. Seriously, he's like a real-life Q.
