This? It's a bear, but I think this is who you mean.

There were books?

I LOVED THAT SHOW TOO.

And then I found a WHOLE BUNCHA episodes online. Like here. Ah, the nostalgia. And the show is actually pretty good, too.

OGBRINOHNIRG! NRIGHRG! DIGLR! OTHERSTRONGBADLIKERANDOMTYPINGS!

Thank you! I've wanted to see that show again for years!

The links look a bit glitched though. I clicked on Rupurt in Timeland, and it linked to something else. I clicked on Rupurt in Timeland because i think I remember it. If it's the one where they sneeze just as Father Time stops time, and Father Time gets their names wrong, and then they get really old and start getting Father Time's name wrong. Then I think I remember it.

Yeah, TV Links has its share of glitchinesses, but it's worth it to see episodes of old shows again. I pretty much squealed when I saw the site had them. But I'm still at a loss as to why there are these random animals in this otherwise human-ish world. But did I care as a kid? Of course not.

I watched the first episode. That show is really cracked out. And Rupurt is obviously related to What's Her Face, because he narrates his life a lot.

My favorite episode of this show was the Twilight Fan one. Those penguins are AWESOME. Though, I have to wonder, if the King of Birds originally condemmed flying machines, how'd those penguins get up there in the first place?

Seriously, that show PWN'D when I was a kidlet.

I remember WAY back when I was a seriously young kidlette, I loved a show called Under the Umbrella Tree. And it was about this house with a tree in the middle! There were gopher, blue jay, and iguana puppet animals, and one human girl. I can't remember anything else about it, except one episode had a totem pole, and another had a song about hiccups I STILL remember to this day.

"Hiccups, hiccups, go away!
One is fine, but two is too many,
I know they'll go, but I hate to say,
Uh-oh here comes another one again!"

*hiccup*

I remember that show! It was actually an apartment, not a house, I think. There was an origins episode and everything. Let's see... the human was Holly and she owned the apartment (and tree), and for reasons I no longer remember, she was approached by separately by Gloria Gopher, Jay the Blue Jay (his name may have actually been Jake), and Iggy Iguana to live with her. Jay nested in the tree, Gloria burrowed under it, and I have no clue where Iggy actually slept.
Man, I remember less about the show than I thought.

That's still more than I remember. Although I do remember a bunch of shows from old-school Disney channel... I also remember some show involving Dumbo and a circus, Alice in Wonderland (live-action), and some movie or something or other involving some unicorn thing...

Weird. I was just looking him up in Wikipedia, and it appears there is a newer cartoon starring him recently in the UK or something. He looks like Winnie-the-Pooh now... and how did Pong Ping become a girl? O.o

OK, moving on to a new childhood fixation, maybe. XD Hmmmm... Diddy Kong Racing! I can't wait to get the new DS version. I remember playing that game and trying to beat all the TT times.

When I was a little kid, this is what I did in my free time

1. Listen to REO speedwagon - yah, I never really cared for those childrens albums, but I always loved good ol' classic rock

2. Watch shows like pokemon, and going further back, bananas in pajamas, and Rupert

3. write songs in my head - I could do this for hours. I would just come up with a tune and sing words along to it. The songs often sounded like TMBG, but I hadn't heard of them at the time.

4. Play chip's challenge, asteroids, missile command, hearts, battlezone, pipe dream, or centipede on our computer.

I did those exact things. I really like centipede. I loved Chip's Challenge, but my parents' computer didn't have it, so I could only play it at school. I later learned the magic of downloading stuff off the internet. I'm playing Chip's Challenge right now, actually.

Hehehehe. I own a HUGE video of Rupert episodes. Isn't the theme-song fantastic?
I love the power rangers music as well.
Oh, and my grandparents had like, a million Rupert Annuals. You know, those huge books that kids in the sixties and seventies used to get every year.
Man, I loved those books. I wonder where they went..

If I wasn't watching Dragonball Z, I was playing with my Dragonball Z action-figures/dolls, drawing a character from Dragonball Z, or talking about Dragonball Z with friends. I was very addicted.

Are you my sister? You sound just like her. She was a serious DBZ addict as a kid...

I used to love the Animorphs books.
I was a little bit in love with Jake on the covers, he was a bit cute.
And also because he was their fearless leader and he morphed into a tiger, my favourite animal.

I still like Animorphs, but not as much as I did when I was ten. I recently almost completed my collection, actually. Does anybody have a copy of book 49 or book 52 that they'd be willing to part with?

I remember finding an old Animorph book and re-reading it. It was so patently ridiculous. The funny thing is, I mentioned it to my friend a day later, and he knew everything that had happened in that book...

It was kinda sad.
