I miss Fix Kids from before the Foxbox, when it had Digimon. Digimon was the best.

Digimon FTW!

Definitely agreed. Digimon TOTALLY FTW. I got Digimon world DS recently. I've rediscovered my Digi-love as of late, and I even redesigned my old fan Digimon. I love the name I came up with for my Digimon's ultimate stage, too--Horusmon.

I grew up watching Nickelodeon and playing games like Goldeneye and Mariokart. Good times.

That's certainly better than the name I came up with with mine.

Now I have to explain all mine to you. XD

Fresh: Millimon - A small black millipede Digimon. It's a baby Digimon, so it has no real powers to speak of.
In-Training: Squirmamon - A green caterpillar digimon. However, it has paws like a mammal.
Rookie: Natamon - A pink furry digimon with crescent-moon shaped wings and a large tropical flower on her head. She can use the attacks Solar Stare and Pollen Bubble. She can use the power of light to attack her enemies.
Champion: Fluttamon - A large purple butterfly digimon with white, orange, and blue wings. She wears sneakers for some reason and has mammal-like claws. She can use Wing Razor Swords and Raining Nectar. Although she has a cute appearance, she has great strength and can carry many times her own weight, even in flight.
Ultimate: Horusmon - A wizardly digimon with the body of a humanoid hawk. He can use the attacks Quad Dervish and Lunar Lightning. He is a keeper of great knowledge.
Mega: Masquerademon - A great and secrative wizard Digimon. She never removes the mask covering her face. She can use the attacks Silver Fist and Red Masque. Those who betray her will never see the end of her vengance.

I played Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon as a kid. I should probably dig them out and give them another play through.

I also played Spy Fox. That game rules...

There's supposed to be a fifth season coming out this summer. But it'll most likely be so bad it's scary, like last season. (I don't care what anyone says, the third season was the best.)

I've still got all of my Digimon cards, too. Neatly OCD organized in a Digimon shoebox from back when I was six.

I never played the video games, though. Video games frustrated me when I was six, because I couldn't win.

I had Jill of the Jungle game, loved that.
I loved shows like SuperTed, Bananaman, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula and Samurai Pizza Cats.
I loved my green chunky Gameboy and the Sega Mega Drive (Sonic and Tails ftw!).

I loved doing calisthenics and stuff, dancing, playing netball.

The fifth season is called Digimon Savers, and from what I've seen of it, it looks pretty cool. The main character has an Agumon again, which bothers me as a not-so-much-of-an-Agumon fan, but the other Digimon, Gaomon and Lalamon, and pretty cool. They're the ones featured in the DS game, but Lalamon there got angelicized to Raramon.

I loved SuperTed, Bananaman and Danger Mouse. I guess I'm too young to remember the other two.

I remember coming up with a SuperTed/Raggy Dolls crossover once. I wish I could remember the plot. When Victor and Hugo: Bunglers in Crime crossed over with Dangermouse, it scared me.

I used to write fanfiction a lot as a kid, but at the time, I didn't know it was called that. I told myself I was making up episodes of TV shows based on all the stuff I liked.

I think my favorite was the Kirby show, which I came up with several years before any such thing actually existed on TV. Mine involved a character called Jenny, who crash-landed on Popstar and ended up taking up residence with Kirby and his pals. She came from a dimension outside Dreamland and was a human, but somehow, coming to Dreamland gave her Kirby-like powers. She's still technically my Kirby fancharacter, just old.

I had some pretty great original projects, too. Nano Beasts was one of my favorites. It was sort of like my take on Pokemon, but not entirely. I came up with some really awesome monsters for it, too, with the help of my best friend. I still like Blizzard, my very first monster creation for Nano Beasts. He's a purple turtle-like creature with a shell shaped like a snowflake. He's awesome.

Ah, Shwoo!
Raggydolls! Johnson and Friends! And all the other great ABC kids shows!
Count Duckula you may be too young, but Samurai Pizza Cats I was watching when I was maybe 8 or 9, so you may have been around while it was on.

Johnson and Friends was pretty awesome.
And that show, about toys in a bedroom, it was Jim Henson's something something. That was fantastic.

I remember that show, just not the name though.
I also used to watch a lot of Winnie the Pooh and Care Bears on video.
And the Chipmunks around the world video.

I wish I had that stuff now!

Care Bears was the first show I remember getting obsessed with. It's also the first show I remember making a fanfic about. It involved the Care Bears and the Care Bear Cousins getting trapped in cages, and then turning into zombies... It was pretty dark for a five year old.

The Jim Henson show was Jim Henson's Secret Life of Toys. My mum taped a few episodes, so I remember it fairly well. I remeber there was a mouse who used to be a cat toy, and in one episode he sang a song about it.

I don't know why no one sees I'm a mouse
There's so much that's mousy about me
I'm blue like a mouse
And I chew like a mouse
I don't know why no one (something) me
I'm a mouse
It's clear as a crystal to me
I'm a mouse
But a cat toy's all that they see

There was a second verse as well, but I won't bore you with it.

Johnson and Friends was great. I used to have a couple of really easy Johnson and Friends jigsaw puzzles. They had nine pieces each.

I really loved Where's Wally?, and I used to have almost every eipsode on tape. Anyone remember that show?

We have a huge tape of old Winnie the Pooh episodes. I'm annoyed because there are all these stupid new shows of it. And they aren't very good.

Actually, now that I remember, Winnie the Pooh was on Saturday Disney, which used to be really really cool. It used to show all those old disney cartoons. We have a tape of those too. :p

That show was great! We have a tape of it too! Or did. Now I want to watch it again... but it's all the way back home... Sigh...

You can never have too many Pokemon!

That was the logic I followed when I made up my pokemons. I've still got some, about 100. I've had 250+ overall, in my twelve short years of life.

Johnson and Friends was the shiz...Can anyone help me remember all of the characters names? I remember Johnson, Diesel and Squeaky, but that's it.

Also, I'm not too young for Count Duckula, and I'm 15. So, that may put some perspectives on it, or somethings.

I thought I remembered the acordian's name, but I didn't. So I looked it up. Her name is McDuff, by the way. I totally forgot about Victoria and Alfred.

One of my favourite book series when I was ten was the Koala Hills books by Rachel Flynn. Has anyone heard of it?

Sorry, but they're still seven 'mon away from 500. 493. And since Mr. 493 himself is the very god of all Pokemon, fan speculation has it that this may be the last wave of "new" Pokemon. Of course, I don't believe it for a second, but fans do love to speculate.

Now I'm trying to figure out something I loved as a kid. There was a small, "independent" budget house that put out a number videos that I watched as a kid. They also seemed to adopt a bunch of foreign movies. The one video put out by their company that I saw the most was "Samson and Sally." Good lard, I loved that movie. But I'm trying to find out what all they did/adopted. I remember a movie about a penguin, one about seals and some secret cave, one I can only remember because it had a musical note character named "Treble," and one about an ant colony that I think I actually saw a couple times. I think that ant movie may even have come on Nickelodeon once.

I had Kid Pix! That was so fun! Especially when we got the upgrade, with sound and picture prompts. (Best sound ever is q, seriously)

Using my magic subliminal message powers, I noticed that when you set the bomb to erase everything, the "explosion" flashes the current date. I think doing the erase thing repeatedly helped me hone my skills.

Anyway, I used to really like having house wars with forts and everything, when I was smaller and couldn't traverse my entire house in five steps. My friends and I would set up forts made out of pillows, blankets, chairs, and whole tents, for reinforcement. We would run around with toy guns and pretend to shoot each other.

I also used to try and wake up really early to watch the Saturday morning cartoons on Kids WB. A lot of them were really low quality, but I watched every single one of them nonetheless.

I remember watching Nick Jr. before it started sucking. o_o

All those old shows - like Blue's Clues as God and nature intended it to be, meaning /with/ Steve Burns and /without/ a million other minor characters; Maisy, on occasion, though I liked the books; umm...that one show with the two kid beavers and their grandpa-beaver who told them stories? I can't remember the title of that show but I liked it.

I apparently used to love the Muppets as well, though I don't actually remember watching, say, Sesame Street (or the Muppet Show for that matter). I do remember having Sesame Street bath toys (and of course a Tickle Me Elmo), though. It was like this set of maybe five or six floating plastic figurines of Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, probably Elmo and...another one, probably either Grover or Oscar. We have home videos of a little nekkid me in my little bath seat in the bathtub with my mom prodding the toys at me to try and get me to play with them.

Did anyone else have a bath seat? O_o I don't actually remember using it because I was a baby at the time, but the home movies clearly show me sitting in one. I think it was this plastic seat with suction cups on the bottom that attached to the bathtub floor to keep Baby from floating away or falling over and drowning.

I wanna go watch some of our home movies now. O_o

That's sounding like the Just For Kids line to me. I remember that we used to get their videos from the Amazing Store (oh man, that store's been gone for ages...). The only one that rings a bell is the penguin movie, though. Was it "Scamper the Penguin?" The main character was blue, and his girlfriend was pink, but everybody else was normal penguin colors.
That reminds me of the animated Three Musketeers my sisters and I used to watch. For some reason it had an owl for comic relief.

"Here Comes Mongolian Warlord Genghis Khan"?

That doesn't sound like a very happy video, mostly because the subtitle would likely be "And He's Going To Kill Your Family". Unless you were just being funny. o_O

Yes! Scamper the Penguin! I definitely know that one! Now I know what I'm looking for! I want to find those again, just to see how they've stood up. I know most of them will seem ultra cheesy now (Oh hoodness, the memories of re-watching the Felix the Cat movie...), but Samson and Sally I know is actually supposed to be a pretty good little movie.
