It takes the spot of that item in the menu, and if you pick any up, nothing will change. You wont be able to use them.

As for Ice Arrow get, I've never had a problem, just go left. But for me, the keys are easy to get.

Erg, the other day I got out my 64 and OoT to start a new game, and I couldn't find the powercord…and I never unplug the cords from the system, EVER, even when they're in the closet.lol

I'm currently doing all the mask quests in OoT I can possibly do. I'm trying to get as much stuff as possible done without going to the second dungeon. After that, I might sequence break and beat Jabu-Jabu first. But I'm wondering if I should save my Zelda sequence-breaking expirements for a regular playthrough and not a Master Quest one, since I'm still unfamiliar with the Master Quest dungeon puzzles.

EDIT: Daaaaaang. Apparently this was my 5000th post. I need WAY less free time.

Am I right? Seems completely random. Good game, though.

I think somebody gives you a hint about that someplace.

I don't remember that. Of course, I took a break of about 5 months before going back to go into the swamp of evil, so...

LttP! Whew boy. It's been a while since I played that. Also been a while since OoT too. And Wind Waker! I could get around playing them sometime.

Does anyone know where to get a MM cartridge. I have the Collector's Disc, and I'm sick of going through a ton of crap just so the emulator crashes and I have to start all over from the Dawn of the First Day! I aslo could start playing Zelda 1 & 2 again. I'm just too tired to do that right now.

Amazon always works. They'll have MM.

I actually have the original cartridges to Zelda 1 and Zelda 2. The save function still works.

If stored properly, those batteries can last for one heck of a long time.

I'm glad I bought the Master Quest version of OoT, though, so I don't have to worry 'bout that. I still fear for the day when my most treasured Game Boy games will die on me...

The same thought occurred to me with my Master Quest. And as a matter of fact, the batteries in my Pokémon Gold have died.

Exactly. I keep my dust-sleeve equipped NES cartridges in a box designed for storing NES games and accessories. My saves in Startropics and Zelda II are still intact.

The same thing happened to my Silver! I was as heartbroken as if a pet had died. :(

So I saw my friend do this, yet I've forgotten how, and being a completionist I must do this, so... City in the Sky. Compass. How do I get to it?

You know, the Oocca dungeon in TP. I can't think of its proper name.

Woah! The second dungeon in Master Quest! It's, like, totally BACKWARDS! OK, not totally, but still! Holy turned-around Dodongo's Cavern, Keeseman!

Oh, I haven't played TP yet. I have it, but I can't play it because I don't have a Wii. I did preorder a Wii today, though, so I'll be able to play it on the 24th. I had to buy a preorder bundle at Gamestop.com.

I finally beat the Kafei sidequest(s) in Majora's Mask.

Ladies and germs, may I present, the Dancing Kirby of Jubilation +3!

That one always gave me trouble until I realized it was probably best to repeatedly changed the speed of the flow of time. Have it normal for waity bits, but slow it down in a few places, like in Sakkon's hideout.

Meh, I did alright without slowing time down there. I only had to repeat it once because I screwed up in the first room. I swore I would slow it down if I messed up a second time, but then I did it.

Now I need some help. I've gotten the skull captain's mask from the graveyard, but I can't tell the skeleton troops to open the grave that has the song in it. I can open the grave with the Iron Knuckle and the Heart Piece, but I can't do much else. Help please?

I suggest that you try both the wii and gamecube versions. Different people have different tastes, so some people like the gamecube version better, while others like the wii one better.

I could make a joke about "...Including there not being a first time for everything?" but that joke is about as old as that phrase.

My friend lost is Oot for the 64. He was pretty bummed out until it was released for the VC. Yay Wii!

I really like the Master Quest version, though, because its dungeons are great in that "new twist" way. Also, you get six files, which is great fun. :D I wanted to sell my original OoT after that, but my sister wouldn't let me. "I don't want to play it," she said. "I just like to play in the files you've already beaten so I can ride Epona and fish."

I like to keep original copies of games—including OOT, despite the fact the I have the Master Quest disc.
