'Cause he doesn't know that they've finally agreed with him that Assad isn't the one behind the attacks. Besides, he went against the orders of CTU and the president - even if he was right, that's not something that goes away lightly. |

Ok.. I don't know if Assad is a good guy or if he's playing them. After hearing the history between Curtis and Assad, it may not matter. Edit: Nevermind that. Another main character bites the dust. Seriously, this show kills off main characters left and right. I'm guessing Buchanan, Chloe, or maybe even Jack will be next.. OK WTF? A friggin nuke just went off. The terrorists just messed up. Setting that nuke off just brought Jack back into this... |

Yeah...even though I don't watch the show I've heard lotsa rumors about Jack being killed off. |

Ok, that sucks. Curtis died because Jack shot him, and a nuke just went off. Jacks life seriously blows right now. If they kill Clohe next I'll cry. |

If they kill Clohe next I'll cry. I wish they would kill Chloe's man. I've worked with that type of person before, and no matter how good they are, in the end, they bring the organization down. Jack was ready to quit the terror game.. When that bomb went off, I think the terrorists just made him mad... The only thing scarier than Jack Bauer is an angry Jack Bauer. |

Just watched the third and fourth hours. I was at a friends house when they were on, so we taped them. It's been tricky avoiding this thread, I keep almost clicking on it. Near the beginning of the first episode (third hour), my mom predicted that Curtis would die soon. Pretty good prediction, I guess. I wouldn't have expected it if she hadn't said anything. (Though it wouldn't have been a surprise, it's not like they haven't killed people off before) It's too bad, I liked Curtis. It's hard to say where they're going with Morris. They're setting him up to be a problem, but I've got a feeling he's gonna be important (In a way that doesn't screw things up). Code J wrote: Yeah...even though I don't watch the show I've heard lotsa rumors about Jack being killed off.
Heh, no. They're not killing Jack off if there are going to be more episodes. They just wouldn't (Story purposes and ratings). At the end, perhaps, but Jack dying at the end of the series seems to predictable for 24. It's always hard to say for this show. Guess that's why it's good. EDIT: My dad just made a good point - all of the current "villlians" are dead, so someone else is gonna be rising soon. |

Fayed is still alive, though I suspect that, if Jack finds him, he won't be for long. The ad for this week's episode reveals how badly the terrorists messed up. Bill Buchanan wrote: "I thought you were out." Jack Bauer wrote: "Not after that, I'm not!"
Jack's gonna hurt someone. |

I don't remember. Didn't he skidaddle to a safe house before it went boom? They didn't show it, but I'm pretty sure he was heading out the door when they cut to Jack and Curtis having it out over Assad. |

It's almost time for 24! Time to get the viewing stuff ready... Popcorn goes in microwave, phones go off hook. Now we see how CTU is going to react to a nuclear weapon being detonated in the Los Angeles area. Also, hopefully, Morris will be fired... out of a cannon... into the sun. |

Not much so far, except Jack and his heroic "kitty in the tree" stunt. Something's bound to happen soon. |

Told ya that Jack wouldn't be out for long.. I can't say that I don't agree with that admiral in the President's war room. If some country financed Fayad's purchase of the bombs, I say we let them see one up close.
Something wild is going to happen soon, though, you're right. Morris isn't being a jerk yet. EDIT2: WHOA!! Jack's brother is that dude that orchestrated EVERYTHING that happened last season. Anyone else get the jibblies when they showed him? |

Woah, that was unexpected. Jack's family had never even crossed my mind. EDIT: Was that Kim?? It didn't look as much like her after she took off the sunglasses, but that still could be her... And that guy has a family?? |

That would explain why they never said who that dude controlling the president was. I thought he was supposed to be "The Man" (someone from some "secret society" that you hear people like Alex Jones go on and on about on shortwave radio). I never thought he was Jack's brother. Looks like we're in for a family reunion sometime this episode or next. |

Well, they called him Grahmn (And so did Jack when talking to Chloe - I thought it was a nickname) |

Wow.. That's what I call a family reunion. "How are you bro?" *KNOCKOUT PUNCH!* *Tie To Chair* "You're gonna tell me what I want to know" "You're hurting me" "Trust me, I'm not" *Bag over head* Did his brother give some sort of "tell" that he knows what's going on or is Jack just overly paranoid? OR Could he just be mad that his brother is with his ex-wife? |

A little bit of both, I think. He was trying to change the subject too much, he was acting suspicious. I did forget, though, that guys not completely evil. He was doing what he thought was right for the country, even if it involved a little evil. Not saying that he should be off the hook - Logan was doing the same thing - but it's not so much of a shock that he's Jack's brother. Though him selling Jack to China was a bit more evil... |

Well, yeah, he was acting a little too friendly to Jack, but they hadn't seen each other in several years and he DID think the Chinese had taken care of Jack.. I still like "You're hurting me", "Trust me, I'm not"..

I'm getting the feeling that Jack's becoming psycho. I mean, he puts a plastic bag over his brothers head because he thought he was keeping info from him. "I swear by my families life!" "Not good enough" The next episode shall tell more. And I did like that "Your hurting me." "Trust me, I'm not." Unless someone else was in that crashed Helicopter, this is the first episode in the season where no one is killed. Is that a new record? |

Oh... Well, it doesn't really matter to him if he died in the crash, OR in the fall (and terribly unrealistic explosion), either way, he's dead, so someone died tonight. Morris was not behaving like himself tonight. I guess something is wrong. Also, I thought the FBI guys did a good job convincing the terrorist guys that the guy that Palmer's sister is trying to get out of the concentration camp is a terrorist. |

Something tells me that, although she means well, President Palmer's sister is going to do something to blow that guys cover (and possibly get him killed). |

I guessed that, too. She'd definitely do something like that. I don't know why they're letting her stay. |

I can't believe Karen resigned from the President's cabinet, letting herself be intimidated by that little punk. Even spookier was that phone call that the aide made saying "Karen is out".. |

That last scene was pretty unrealistic - it's a prison, there would be people watching over them. They'd be able to get the guy out pretty quickly if something went wrong. |

You'd think so... I was surprised that things went the way they did. I figured that they'd have agents "attack" him again and pull him out. Edit: Don't you just want to alternate punches between Jack's brother's face, throat, and junk? What a weasel. |
