The "100% Alcoholic Cold Ones" on the screen saver would seem to hint that some are not 100% alcoholic. . . I'd say they're generally an ice cold beer unless implied otherwise in the toon itself (ie maybe Where My Hat Is At?) |

Easy: They are alcoholic beverages with non-alcoholic variations. An example: The Strong Beer. It's a strong beer. It's 100% alcoholic. The Colden One: As it seems that it's perfectly legal to enter a game after drinking them (except if the game's in progress and your team is down), they might be root beer or non-alcoholic beer, both being beers without alcohol. And the often mentioned cold one is not Strong Beer, so it has around 15, 20% of alcohol. Like a real life beer. The 'old ones: They might be alcoholic, since Strong Bad is seen drinking them a lot (and making crazy types of crap, like in Date Nite). The room temp-a-ture ones and the warm ones are most likely strong, alcoholic beverages. The Expen$e Account Ones seem to be non-alcoholic as well, as they're enjoyed during business trips, and neither H*R nor SB shown any signs of being drunk. The Cold None... it's probably nonexistant. |

Cold Ones Dry remind me of Guiness just as much as Black Stout Cold Ones. I think they're alcoholic as well... |

Hysterical Woman wrote: In the email Property Of Ones, Strong Bad talks about places where they have "room temperature ones" and "warm ones". Beer is served room-temperature in the UK and sake is traditional served warm, but I've never heard of soda being served at anything but cold. Strong Bad also mentions in suntan that his abs are like a "cold one brewery", which supports the alcohol thesis. I know far too much (looks around suspicously). Susan wrote: YOUR MATT! I KEW IT! So are you implying that Matt Chapman's a woman? ![]() On topic, Cold Ones are alcoholic. It's just that Homestar and co. can't get drunk by them. |

Coach Z can get drunk (see Marzipan's Answering Machine 3) but on Cold Ones or Listerine or something else we don't know. |

If you ask me, its alcoholic. I mean, look at any beer commercial and they always make a point to mention how its nice and cold. |

Alcohol, hands down. In fact, I think some people in the real world tend to dub it that sometimes. |
