Since Pumpkin Stencils has been classified as a "secret page" since June of this year, I don't imagine that all recent fans know about them. And since it was about this time last year that The Brothers Chaps released them, I thought it would be good idea to post this "friendly reminder."

Perhaps I could convince users of this forum to post their plans about which character(s) they intend to carve. Maybe if you're really into it, you could post a picture of a successful (or not-so-successful) attempt at carving a H*R-themed pumpkin if you've a camera and a scanner (or a digital camera.)

I tried making a Homestar Runner Pumpakin last year. It looked like a large brain mesh.

But I shall try again, it seems. Maybe a little Bubs action?

My Marzipan pumpkin didn't turn out that good last year, but I'm all for giving it another shot. Maybe the Cheat...?

If you do the cheat you should leave your pumpkin out for a while to umm... "soften it up". I had to support the body of mine with toothpicks last year because when i did the spots, the whole body fell backwards.

I did a Bubs punkin last year. I'll probably do something with the stencils this year but I haven't decided. I'll keep you posted if I make something.

Last year I made Marshie. Only one my mom approved of. Said it's "cute". I don't know what I'll do this year.

Image Having Marshie stand there on the porch with his evil face? Scariest pumpkin I can think of.

Last year I made the Homestar running pumpakin, and it turned out somewhat okay. This year, perhaps I'll try Homsar? :homsar:

Nah, that's not too bad. It could be a lot worse. It would be amusing, really.

If I'd celebrate Halloween, I'd definetly make one.

I don't celebrate Halloween either, but I made that pumpkin anyway. I usually don't carve pumpkins.

By "not celebrate it," do you guys mean for religious reasons, or because you've grown out of Halloween?

For me, it's because we just don't celebrate it in Eastern Europe.

My family doesn't celebrate Halloween either, but I'm gonna make the Homestar head one. My mom so wants me to make it. Dunno why. Other than she wants to get and roast the seeds. Ick.

Instead of carving a pumpkin this year, I was going to try painting one. If there's enough room, I'm going to try to get Strong Bad, Strong Sad, Strong Mad and The Cheat painted all around it. I'll probably use the stencils to help, since I can only draw The Cheat and Strong Sad.

Thanks for posting your plans, everypeoples. I just learned this quick tip if you're going to be carving a pumpkin and then leaving it outside: Wash the pumpkin in a dilute bleach solution (1 part chlorine bleach to 10 parts water) and that will kill most of the bacteria that "eat" at the pumpkin and make it rot. Just be very careful around chemicals such as bleach!
