I think I found The Lil' Brudder Show to be the most disappointing toon, speaking for myself

The King of Town DVD: Olde Version. It barely deserves to be on the site. New version isn't that good either.

And why does the Yello Dello have two versions?

Definitely, for me, I hate the Lil Brudder Show. His voice was just not what I expected. The song itself is pretty good but only a little funny, but I didn't find Homestar crying about lil brudder that funny before and I think this short's point was just to relive that moment. The little easter egg at the end wasn't funny. I didn't even understand it.

Out of all things TBC have ever done, I hope they never do another Lil Brudder show, and if they do, it is MUCH better.

The e-mail "Best Thing" is by far the worst thing to come out of the minds of TBC.

Worst toon/short: In Search Of The Yello Dello. The commentary-less version of this is probably my least favorite thing on all of H*R. It's close to unwatchable, I think.

Worst E-mail: some kinda robot. *shrugs* Oh well - at least there's significance in it getting SBemail off the ground.

Worst game: 50k Racewalker. Very dumb and pointless, though I think this one is kind of intentionally bad.

Kind of a negative topic for my 500th post, I guess. ;)

I don't know why you guys hate the older toons so much. I think it's hilarious the way the characters were drawn, when you compare them to now.

Well, I love MLS and JJC, so it's not like I automatically hate old stuff.

Theme Party. That email had so much potential, it could've been brilliantly made, and all we get is a crappy ten-second thingy whith SB making fun of some teens? Buh.

Though I can see why they did it. It was email 49, they wanted to get rid of it quickly so they could do the 50th one.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I very much enjoy Jumping Jack Contest, A Jorb Well Done, Strong Bad Sings, etc. - there definitely was some very good stuff in the early years of the site. It's just that the percentage of not very good stuff happened to be much higher than it is now.

I'm also going to have to say The Lil' Brudder Show for the worst cartoon. The worst email...probably tape-leg or weird dream.

Worst toon? What kind? Um... let's go section by section:

Email: Modelling. Definitely. Totally out of character for SB and just plain bad.

Long toon: King of Town DVD.

Short: Theme Song video

PBTC: Original Cheat theme song. Bad song, dumb video.

TGS: Issue 4. Contrived, slow-building

My opinions, anyway.

I've gotta say King of Town, not very good at all. The Little Burdder SHow was OK, but his voice wasn;t right, I didn't like it.

Marshmallow's Last Stand is the worst thing on the site, even though it's not actually "on the site." The only good thing about it is that is got us lady...ing, which was a good e-mail.

I don't think you can count Marshmallow's Last Stand, much like you can't really count Some Kinda Robot. MLS was at the origin of H*R, of course it wasn't as good as later stuff. They were new and hadn't really developed the characters yet.

I mean, yeah, technically it's the worst toon, but for what it was it was the best they were doing. That's like looking at a 4 year old's first piano recital and saying they sucked.

Giving some leeway for older cartoons, here are some toons I hate in no particular order: Current Status, For Kids, Cool Things, Homestar Hair, The Lil Brudder Show, Rock Opera, Bottom 10, TGS: Teeny Tiny Edition (I forget which one this is).

I don't like some of the Tandy emails ( the ones before it broke). I don't like both of the special edition DVDs. And MLS wasn't supposed to be good, and JJC is very good. Best Thing was extremely dissapointing.

Because.... they don't make me laugh? Best Thing was not so hot either, but it had some redeeming qualities. On the other hand, I really like Boring (Really). :)

That was almost my vote for worst Sbemail. The only good thing was caffinated Strong Sad. Worst toon? Little Brudder Show. Not funny.

But...in the grand scheme of things, the good on H*R VASTLY outwieghs the bad.

Of the shorts, I dislike The Cheatar the most.

Also I thought the toon "cool things" was a major disappointment.

And finally, I think just about all of the puppet stuff is pretty boring.

Least Fav Toon: King of Town DVD.

Short: Lil' Brudder

SBemail: Some Kinda Robot(even though it started SBemail)

Toon: I'd say KoT or Yello Dello, but the commentaries are great. The worst is then Reddest Radish. It isn't funny, the animation is stupid, and the laugh tracks fail to make it any funnier. They can be effective in many cases (and things like the "ugh"s that play when Bubs tells a bad joke in Senorial Day), but not here.

Email: Some Kinda Robot is bad, but it was the first so I'll cut it some slack. Homestar Hair is pretty useless, but it is also very early.
The worst would then have to be The Basics. It's #15, so they sort of knew what they were doing, but it is still really boring. And not in a boring (really) sort of way. Just a stupid way.

Short: Li'l Brudder was pretty terrible. Besides that, some not-so-stellar ones are Theme Song Video, Mr. Shmallow, The Cheatar, and Arcade Game.

Holiday: Lots of bad ones here. A Holiday Greeting, Mother's Day, and Some Stupid Turkey are all very similar. And I don't like any of them. Superbowl Dealie is extremely short and boring, but it was never really intended to be a toon anyway.

Either the l'il brother thing or the old holiday things. The football thing, the turky thing, or the mothers day thing.

I liked Car and the Lil' Brudder show >.>;;

But as for worst toon I'd have to say The King of Town DVD

The worst short would be Homestar's theme song video...I know it's a classic but ::shrug:: just not my favorite

worst puppet thing...probably some of the TMBG ones. Just don't really care for them

Worst holiday would have to be "A Holiday Greeting" I didn't find this one funny at all

SBemail-Theme party

That's probably more than ya need but there ya go :bubs:

Your right. The old holiday stuff isn't that good. But you can't really make a mother's day toon if the characters moms are never seen! I think they could have made a better Thanksgiving one, though.

And I don't get why everyone hates car! I mean it's not the worst, or the best, but it's still good!

How was cool things a dissapointment, Seaborg?

*looks around the topic blankly* Worst... homestarrunner.com?! Do those words ever go together, except with a no in there somewhere? I'm sorry, but topics like this just get me depressed. I love everything on the site. Absolutely everything. They're like my childrens. I like a few more than others, but there is no such thing as worse.
