Hey, all. Today I got on my computer around 2:00 and checked my email, waiting for a landfill of "Topic Reply Notification" emails. The notifications had stopped arriving at 1:23, but I paid that no mind... till I clicked the first link. I was immediately Cannot Find Server'd. I had to leave soon, so I checked the Wiki too (it was also down), then left. I just got back to find that they both had returned, a little before 3:32, judging by my email. So for me, the Wiki and Forum were down for two hours this afternoon. What about yous guys? |

The Wiki went down, and so did the thingy that does the "redirect" to the forum from "forum.hrwiki.org".. The dude that hosts our forums was in the chat room and directed us to the IP address that took us to the forum, so I still got in. I'm not an Interweb Scientist, but I think that JoeyDay, in an attempt to mod the Wiki's server, crammed a Swiss Cake Roll into the disk drive. That is not, I repeat NOT the proper place to to put Swiss Cake Rolls. Swiss Cake Rolls are only to be put in the serial port.. Oatmeal Cream Pies go into the disk drive. Seriously, I think it just went down, one of those things that happens. Oh well, we can't complain, it IS free after all. |

More than likely, your compy has the wiki cached, then, cus I tried pinging the server and got nothing... It was definately down. The forum was up, but you couldn't go through "forum.hrwiki.org", you had to go in through http://66.28.206.148/ At least that's how it was for me... I suspect we'll hear the complete story from Jonesy when he gets on. |
