Babies or references to them have appeared a lot in recent toons/e-mails. Garage Sale was full of them Bubs dressed up as a baby on Senorial Day And now, we have the baby and pile o' marshmallows in Bottom 10. Could one (or even both) of TBC have infants on the brain because they're about to become a father? |

I don't think so. Here's why: 1. The "Great for Baby" stuff in Garage Sale was ment to set up a joke for Coach Z. 2. Bubs dressed up as a baby for an overused selling pun. "Going ga-ga over slashed prices!" 3. Nibbler? He was ment to be a miniaturized version of Marshie, where the argument is smaller = younger. |

I agree with Acekirby, and three or four months of one thing in 3 months means nothing. Even if it was in one month, or 2 weeks, so? Especially in 3 months, this has no meaning. |

What about the "Perfect for Newborn Type Babies," thing? You may be on to something, cliche. Though I don't know if it means one of TBC will be a daddy soon. Though Marzipan hasn't been around for quite some time now. Hmmm... |

It's just you. Saying they're making bay references is like saying they're making adult references... wait. Um, you know what I mean anyway. |

Actually, Nibbler was a baby. He clearly said he was only a year old. |

Yeah, there have definitely been several 'baby' references on the site, including the recent ones you mentioned, but also don't forget the baby in Peasant's Quest or the 'wave o' babies' in TGS. The 'baby' thing is most likely just one of those running jokes in the H*R universe, though it's also as good an explanation as any as to why Marzipan hasn't been around. |

Yeah, I don't think TBC are going to introduce a baby to the show. If they did, I'd never watch it again. I just think "wave o' babies!" is there because it's funnier than, say "wave o' senior citizens!" Nibbles? Mocking advertisments for small foods. Coach Z? Well, we all know Coach Z... |

While I don't think they are going to be introducing a baby to the show (you mean the tiniest of babies!?!?!), I do wonder how you are so sure that it is all in the original poster's head. Your location states that you are with TBC... hmmmmmm. How else could we explain your certainty? |

Meh, passing fad. They wouldn't introduce a baby to the HR verse, even if they were to have one in real life. |

Agreed. In an interview (can't remember which one, but TBC said they were pure Nintendo people), they said that they know that they'd jumped the shark when Homestar and Marzipan have a baby. |

It would be funny if there was an episode in which homestar gets up from bed, goes outside and strange things start happening like pompom ignoring him and strong bad saying he's thinks homestars a great guy. Then homestar starts to panick and runs around like in bug in mouth disease. When he sees the king of town on a diet he steps back in shock and bumps into marzipan, turning around he looks at marzipan and what shes holding. "Be careful homestar! You'll wake the baby!" she says as she rocks a really wierd baby in her arms. "Wake up homestar! Wake up!" the baby says. Then suddenly he wakes up in bed with a severe case of the jibbleys with the alarm clock ringing. The brothers could say thats what the baby coments and features were building up to so fans will leave them alone! EDIT: Wow! That was the best post I've ever made!! |

Those are reasons to love children, or at least the reason I love children... They're like me. The reasons to hate children would be the 2 hours "why?" sessions, the poor quality of kids' shows nowadays (eg. The PC'ing of Sesame Street and the terrible saturday morning cartoons), or the fits of "NO!" you sometimes get. Ya know, the whole "mentioning babies" thing is probably nothing, just random chance, or perhaps TBC are doing it just to see what their fans will say, or, Missy could be pregnant. I really don't care that much about their personal lives (I love the cartoons they do, it's none of my business what they do when they're not making toons). |

The thought of Missy pregnant gives me the jibbleys. *shudder* |

hehe I dunno, I've seen her pic, she's kinda cute... although Matt n Mike ain't exactly the most studly guys in the 'verse... lol. Although y'all realise that their not gettin' any younger, besides, imagine the puppettime fun they could have with a real baby in a The Cheat suit? LOL "The Cheat... you smell real rank today... you been playin' with the Poopsmith?" "No no no... Strongbad's floppy drive is not a place to put your pencil shavings. " But I am a bit curious as to why ol' Missy is sorta absent. Of course, if she were preggers y'think the Bros Chaps would make some mention. Like "hey folks, in case you don't see any updates, well that's cuz Marispan...er Missy... is kinda well... havin' my kid. So don't bug us." AND THEN rehash the Strong Bad vacation e-mail and have one of them slap a post-it note up on the site "DORKS!" which could link to new baby pictures and such. |

One of the reasons I like Homestar is because there are no cute pictures. And I don't think TBC needs to inform us of their personal life. The reason Missy is absent? Taking a vacation? Going to the MOOOOOOOON? Layngitis? Who knows? |

I'm sure that Missy is just on vacation or something. At least I hope so. The thought of Mike or Matt having a kid is horrible. Can you imagine what would happen to the site after something like that? |

She could be busy elsewhere. Whoa. Co-producer of The Unseen. Not that I know anything about what it is. That must be what Missy's working on. |

Whoa. Well that explains it. You know, they could have a kid already and we wouldn't know. What would they do? Put a message up on the website?
I don't think so. We'd have to wait until they got around to mentioning it in an interview. For all we know, they could already have kids or at least VERY young ones. |

Well, I dunno if Missy's having a baby or not but if she does, I hope they make a puppet toon with Strong Bad and Homestar talking to the baby or trying to amuse him/her or something. That would be would be awesome!!

![]() Umm.... I think that might cause permanent trauma to the baby, and it would have these scary images of a guy with a red egg for a head, and end up hating the website. Maybe something to a lesser extent than that. If they do have a baby and he/she gets older they could do. They might have a vs. little BOY series. |

No, the baby would love Strong Bad because Strong Bad rules and when the baby grows up every time he goes to the website it'll remind of his childhood (babyhood?) and he'll love the website. |
