Okay, I just wanted to start a discussion about this. I was curious as to what others thought. When you watched the intro for the first time, did you not think Homestar was singing "La-dee-da-deee-da!"? I mean, when I first heard it, and still a bit now, I could SWEAR he's saying "Matt is your leader!". Even creepier since one of the brothers is named Matt. What do you all think? |

WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just listened to it and the first time it really DOES sound like he says "matt is your leader." The second time it sounds like "la dee da deeeee da", but that could just be their way of hypnotizing us into thinking that's what he said the first time. |

Here's my "conspiricy theroy" on the subject: There's "proof" on that e-mail that says that Homestar said "la-dee-da-deeeee-da," but he could be lying. Or you might of asked him the wrong question. Eather way, at first, he probibly recorded "Matt is your leeeaaader," but then masked over it with the norma "la-de-da-deeeeee-da!" Even though the "la-de-da-deeeeee-da," is much louder, your brain probibly picks up BOTH messages! After extensive reaserch, I have come to the conclusion that...*drum roll"...Matt is a hypnotist artist!!! This is probibly why he only does the voices, besides Misty. Also, I think, everybody who joined this forum is addicted to hr because, when they see homestar (or any character besides Marzi for that matter) speak, they fall into a subconsience trance that causes them to constantly have to visit the site!!! That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. |

The reason many people are hearing this is because someone mentioned it. Works like this with a lot of 'backwards messages' in songs - if someone tells you to look for, say, "SWEET CUPPIN' CAKES!" if you play a certain song backwards, your ear will be trained to listen for it and identify what you normally would have thought was a random string of gibberish as it. |
