HomestarRunner has definitely consumed my life.
Ask anyone of my close friends, and they will all say that I do like HR. Probably because I quote it all the time, and because I have the Homestar shirt.

I wouldn't really say it consumed my life, it has more like just changed it.

I was consumed by H*R at first, but by now the initial overwhelming preoccupation has since passed. I don't love it any less; I just love it... um... less frequently? I guess what I'm trying to say is that it has become another part of my life, but not my entire life.

I'm usually greet people like, "Oh, hello!" with the Homestar speech impediment and sometimes like, "Oh, hey guys!" And if something good happens, I'm like "Awight!" And this is the coolest. We're doing archery in my gym class at school, and when I hit the target, I'll yell out, "ARROW'D!" And everybody'll look at me funny. So yeah. Homestar claimed my life.

Is homestarrunner.com consuming your everyday life?

Yes. Very much indeed.

Saying "what the crap?" all the time, quoting e-mails, listening to the SB CD every day, wasting my time here... :p
Wearing HR shirts (http://www.dse.nl/~jdekkers/), having images of HR, TC and SB on all your school stuff (http://fanstuff.hrwiki.org/index.php/Image:Kikis_HR_school_stuff.jpg), and, and...
Explaining what 'that weird yellow animal' is about a hundred times a day.

It certainly has. I've started referring to my sunglasses as "Cool, cool Shades" and only another girl at my school gets it. I've even been recruiting people for the homestarmy (not literally, of course. I've just been telling them about it.)

Today in band, we had officer elections, and I advertised on the board (among the serious ones) to vote Strong Bad for president and The Cheat for fundraising, logic being that SB owns everything, and he'll need someone to steal the money he needs to run the band.

Yes.
Very yes.

Not only do I quote almost every day, post here regularly and flaunt my star shirt, but my friends have a few wierd nicknames, too. My best, Chloe P, is occasionally called Marzi as she has the same obsession with naming inanimate objects. Unfortunately she doesn't actually seem to get the joke.

Oh gosh, TOTALLY homestar has consumed my life.
1. My cousin and I made a trivial pursuit H* board game.
2. I quote it every day.
3. (the creepiest) I woke up at three in the morning and recalled a dream about a weird banner from the forum. Whaen I fell back to sleep I had a dream about another post. I woke up once more. This happened 20-something times before it was time to get up.

H*R has been taking over my life ever since the first week I entered the website (I can't even remember when that was). I'm always saying "Seriously" like homestar dose. In fact, I think i'v said every homestar and strong sad quote at least once. I just can't help it. I love H*R :)

I quote H*R all the time. And I've always talked like Senor Cardage when I'm tired. My favorite ting to say is "[SOMETHING] OVER. [SOMETHING ELSE] = VERY YES"

Well, when I first started posting here, I hardly ever quoted Homestar... but I dunno what happened... cuz now things just kinda slip out without me realizing it until my roommate looks at me funny or something. The same thing happened with me when I was filming a home made version of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure... I adopted "Dude" as a common conversation word... and it never went away to this day. Yeah, the "damage" I've sustained from Homestar Runner is probly irreversable. But at least I'm not alone ;)

Yes.....

I spend most, if not all of my free time simultantiously on AIM and on either the H*R site, Forum, or wiki. Of course the forum is new, but I almost have the H*R site memorized. I sometimes recite entire e-mails to whoever will listen...........like my dog.......

Well, I find myself making the sound effect of "dooj" whenever I give a single or double deuce.

Plus, I stumbled upon an ability to sound like Homsar perfectly....

hehe the obsession is fading for me, and i have to say im marvelling at the level of obsession you guys have with this thing! for me and my friends, its kinda moved to a thing where we just quote occaisionally and we get what each other are saying so its still a part of life. we still get fun times out the site so its cool. i think it will never get old, and when i have more spare time in summer i will be on it more!

H*R hasn't really consumed my life, but it's a pleasant little corner of it. I indulge in the updates, I listen to my cd, I wear my shirts often and proudly. But other than that I'm fairly quiet with it.

And contrary to popular belief, no, I am not actually in love with Coach Z. :p Ask my boyfriend.

A lot of my friends at school like it and we all squidge around one computer in the student union to watch the weekly updates together. And we curse together whenever flash jams and the toons abruptly stop halfway through. Then, together, like one big happy obsessed family, we frantically try opening the toon on another computer that hopefully won't jam.

There aren't many opportunities for quoting dialogue. However a couple of phrases have a special place in our hearts, and we take every opportunity to spam our daily conversations with them. Namely:

1) "Wave O' Babies."
2) "Were you just first-basin' it with that piece of L-houuuu-se Leeeaf???"

And one more thing--Teh Finch (who doesn't post much) has been a very good friend of mine since kindergarten. We proudly geek over the new toons every week in AIM.

Homestar Runner, especially this forum, was indeed consuming my life. But then school started to consume it, and Homestar kinda got kicked into the corner, along with you guys. School is starting to calm down a little, though, so hopefully HR can reclaim its spot right up there near the top of my priority list.

Well, it's not so much obsession... but I watch it enough that some of the phrases slip into my usual lexicon from time to time...

Just today I used (when I was getting out a cigarette), "Could you help an old Soderbergh and give me a light."

I have discovered I have more symptoms than I thought.

I have a tendency to forget how to pronounce 'R'.

The last time I said 'hello', pronouncing the L's properly, to my friends, was approximately three weeks ago.

When asked by a friend to fix a problem with a computer and I don't know how, I just say "This computer-box needs words."(i.e. "I don't know how to fix this, so don't bother asking the teachers")

If I can't find good quote for a situation, I para-quote(similar to 'paraphrase') instead.

I genuinely want to be Homestar's girlfriend.
