Heh. It only take a day or two for HR products to get to my house.

Yep, me too. Come to the South! We've got lions!

Ah, I just remembered. My dad thinks the CGNU fight song is hilarious, even though he's only heard it once or twice.

My dad refuses to watch it and calls it a waste of time. My mom watches it when I beg her to but then tells me she doesn't understand at all.

I take that back...a little.

My parents think the songs are pretty funny. I think my mom's favorite one is either Everybody to the Limit, or Strongbadia National Anthem.

My parents hate it with a passion. My dad's trying to get me to stop going to it, as well as to this forum. So I just go on when he's not around.

Why not? What does he have a problem with? Does he think it's dirty or summat?

I'll talk to him. ;)

Okay, that's probably not the best thing to say...

Why do they not like it? It is meant for everybody unless a person thinks "crap" and "freakin'" are a bad word. Oh, and, *pulls out tire iron and whacks Acekirby on the head with it*. You know better than that ;) .

Heh. They think it's a waste of time, and, yes, he thinks that it's "dirty". I've tried to show it to him, but he won't have anything to do with it. And he definetly doesn't like the fact that I'm talking to hundreds of strangers over the Internet who could "come to my house and kill me for all he knows". Buh. I mean, c'mon. Really. Bleah.

Well, my parents know I watch it (I think) but they never actually saw it, so... But I think it wouldn't be their type of humor anyway.

Yep, I'm pretty sure that since a lot of us are in between ages 10-18 that we're going to be able to hitch a ride to wherever you live and rob/kill you with a butcher knife... But, you still have to worry about the ones older than the mainstream. (DUN DUN)

Seriously, no one has killed me yet, and I posted my general area on the HrWiki map.

Yeah, my parents don't really like the "silly" type of humor Homestar uses. They just leave me to it because it makes no sense to them.

Good call, DS_Kid. I'm just glad my dad never saw that pic of Didymus with the large knife... that would've been the end of me on here. :p

The cartoon. I'm pretty sure the forum isn't dirty. For the most part... :p

He'd probably think the forum is dirty if he saw it... all these people saying creepy things about other people's pictures and whatnot...

My dad thinks it's annoying and won't watch it.

My mom, however, loves it and is always asking me on Mondays if the new email came out and we watch it together. :p

My mom hates Homestar, a lot, like, when ever I watch it she says 1 of these phrases. "Not that crappy cartoon again" or "Aren't you getting tired of Homestar?" or the first time I saw Homestar "Why is that guy wrestling that other guy for a star?", but my dad is watches it every while or so and laughs and StrongBads wierd antics, and how StrongBad makes fun of the first cartoons.

Hahaha I could just imagine some hsr fan singing that in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner :p

But, as for me, I just started to get into HSR just after my dad left to Alberta for 3 months to find a job. So, he never heard of it till me and mum moved there with him. I haved shown my dad the first time here thing, and he laughed at the famouse phrase "Homestarrunner.net.... It's dot com!"

As for my mom, Iv'e made her watch some of the toons. She thinks it'd "stupid humor", and says that she thinks it's cute that I like these cartoons, but she just doesn't aggree with it (she's kinda old fasioned).

My mom knows I watch it, but she doesn't know a thing about it. All I know about what my dad thinks of it is he gets a kick out of Strong Bads voice.

OK, WHOA. My parents and siblings are constantly annoyed by me quoting H*R and stuff, and i am always reminding them when it gets close to Monday. My mum has a pretty neutral attitude towrads it, i show some stuff occasionally and sometimes she laughs. but my brother is always annoyed whenver i talk ab out it. I dont know why.

My mom thought it was stupid, but she got me a Vector Strong Bad shirt, so I can't complain.

My mom cracked up when she heard her first SBEMAIL line: "This is a sub-poo-ena! I summons exhibit 4-B to my chambers!" "Sustained! bonk-bonk-bonk"

Yeah, she watches a LOT of Law and Order.

I showed a few Strong Bad Emails to my dad, and later some of the Teen Girl Squads. He seemed to be amused. I also tried "performing" Radio for him in the car once and got him laughing when I came to the college radio part. :p

My mom I was't so successful with. It was over the summer, and I'd had to download the site, sorta, cause we don't have the internet at home, and I forgot to download the "First time here" toon so I tried to start with the character pages. She walked out right after Strong Bad's.

I did manage to get my cousin hooked on it though. Big time.

I spend most of my time on the Envi (my computer, i've started calling it that) here, and my parents keep complaining about how I don't spend enough time with them, so they'll watch any H*R toon if I ask them to.

My mom's opinion: I shall describe this in her many quotes: "This cartoon is too loooong. -_-" "I can't believe you still want to be Homestar for Halloween." "What the devil is 'Limozeen'?" Obviously, she doesn't like it that much.
My dad's opinion: I've only shown him Bug in Mouth Disease and best thing. He liked them and thought Strong Bad and Bubs were funny, but he forgot about the whole thing within 2 weeks.

And now for...
My cousins' opinion (on my mom's side): Neil and Sally-chan are the people that got me interested in the first place. On our camping trip, they constantly said "I can count all the way to G!" "That's nothing! I can count to purple backwards!" They <3 TGS.
My cousin's opinion (on my dad's side): I showed Anthony the First Time Here video and A Jorb Well Done. Later, I started drawing Pom Pom on MS Paint, and he said "Great jaerb on that picture! ^_^"

Conclusion: My cousins are a lot more loyal (and have a better sense of humor) than my parents. w00t. :p
