Ah, I misinterpereted the Wikiday and the Forumday. Well, it's cool to see how far this forum has gone in 5 months. Heck, I thought that in a year, to go up to 600+ users is a great accomplishment, but in 5 months, it's even better!

I know! I joined ABOUT around the beginning (a month or os after) and this forum has definitely grown a WHOLE LOT!!! Keep it up, H*R Wiki Forum!!! I eagerly await the day we reach 1000 members!

because when we have 1000 members, that means that I'm popular!... err.. I mean, because when we have 1000 members, the original 999 get candy bars!... umm, no, ... how about because when we have 1000 members, that will justify the hours and hours I spend here!... or hmmm. What's the big deal with 1000 members?

I'd say it's just because it's a big number.

It's like when you reach 100, 500, and finally 1000 posts. It's a mini celebration, but since this one will be forum-wide, it's a big celebration.

I'm sure the mods would rather us revise an old thread than make a new one. But thats just IMO.

Wow- its amazing to look back on when the wiki started, when Strong Bad E-mail discussions didn't even stretch past one pge- ahh, the good ol' days. Of course, now that we're growing faster by the day and may eventually grow to rival Homestar Rules!- well, I guess now could be considered good too. But not ol'. No. Definetely not ol'.

You know what? I was one of the first members- I guess...- and I think all of you forumgoers nowadays are spoiled! Why, when I was your age, only 10 replies on the "haircut" thread seemed like a ratherl arge discussion- InterruptorJones hand-locked everything with care, unlike this mass-locking he does now- and all we had was two cans with a string attaching them, and AgentSeethroo would yel jokes thru one ear and we'd listen thru another! But NOOOOOOO! Now its all "Us, us, us! Oh, look a n00b! (trample, burninate, kill) Good thing we dealt with him. He sure made a few mistakes, but didn't we all n our first posts? He could've very well become a mod in his prime, but no. Being accepting would require EMPATHY! We don't have a drop in ou veins! Wow, for people all joined together by a comical website, we sure are cruel!"

Oh, crap. I went ranting again, didn't I?

One of the first? You joined almost a month after it's creation. But yeah, we are pampered. But is there anything wrong with that?

That's what happends to forums, Swooshoman. But I thought we had a nice little community going here, except for the trolls of course.

Do you see newbs being tortured left and right?

I think he means how some people will pounce on the newb when they make mistakes.

Post subject:

I don't see that happening too much, actually.

On another note, in Swooshoman's post, he refers to a "n00b." He got the two different definites mixed up.

Noob/n00b: "Someone who acts immaturely."
Newb/Newbie: "Someone who is new."

That's the official difference for those who do not know.

Woah, I thought I stumbled onto the wiki forum there.

And I don't think we're getting another logo soon, especially if we have to copy it. The logo, in my opinion, is fine as it is.

Well, every once in a while, I find it nessecary to bump this topic, so we can reflect on how much both the Wiki and the forum have grown.

I will never forget the good ol-days, back when the forum was new. Although, eventually, Homestarrunner.net will reopen and this place will be bandoned. Thus making THESE the good ol' days. Especially with these 509s lately, it opens my eyes to exactly how vulnerable a website can be. Who knows when the wiki will be gone? When Homestar will be gone? Make well with what you have established here at the forum now - It won't last.

What are you talking about?

We will have only truly left this Wiki when none here are loyal to it!

What was homestarrunner.net? If it's another fansite, I definitely won't leave here.

What was homestarrunner.net?

Probably the most popular Homestar Runner forum untill it went down.

Same here, no one can overthrow the power of a wiki!

Well, it's possible... but I'll pretend they can't. That's the same thing, right?

Ya think so? Pshh.

No one will overthrow my...I mean...our reign of terror.

This place has nothing to do with the dot net. If any forum would be abandoned due to its reopening, it'd be H*Rules.

I don't think that this or H*Rules would be abandoned of .net came back, but there might be a few of the vets that would go back to the net. Both here and Rules would have a good number of people leave, but neither would be abandoned.

If that makes sense.
