What did anyone actually learn from HomestarRunner.com? I actually learned a lot about some vague 80s pop culture and even discovered the Tom Clancy universe through HomestarRunner.com (the wiki, actually, but you gotta have the website to have the wiki). |

I've learnt 2 things from homstarrunner.com 1. Internet cartoons can be funny without caracters dieing every episode. 2. No matter how hard you try you can never run out of obscure 80's and 90's references. And indirectly I lernt that piont and click is not dead thanks to Telltale Games. |

Well, I've learned about easter eggs, I can identify a Flying V Guitar and I've learned a fair amount about retro gaming, among other things. Seriously, my dad was surprised when I pointed out the Flying Vs in Bill & Ted. But above all, I have learned to respect Onion Bubs. |

Too many Pop Culture references to count. My dad will be saying something, and I'll be all like "Oh, oyu mean like such-and-such?" And he'll just stare at me like "How'd you know?" And I'd just stay silent... |

Quote: My dad will be saying something, and I'll be all like "Oh, you mean like such-and-such?" And he'll just stare at me like "How'd you know?" And I'd just stay silent... That happened to me. We got a Greatest American Hero DVD, and I hummed the theme song (which I learned from the site), and my Dad just stared at me. I learned the word crap (it's true! I had never heard it before I started watching sbemails.) |

I've leaned 2 things: 1)Bread is a good time for me. 2)Bread is a good time for everybody. Okey, seriously I learned that the only hope for cartoons is to ditch target audiences & make cartoons appeal to all genders & ages, & Homestar is one of those cartoons that shows it's possible. |

I was watching University Challenge, and got one of the answers, which was "bacteriophage" - I only know that word from the H*R wiki. |
